I like Lauren in photos but she's coming off as very lazy, unfortunately. There's a runway in the loft...hello...PRACTICE. Shandi improved because she practiced a lot. Lauren also seems to be very passive...in her confessional after Jaslene's comment, she said something like "...I'm letting all these things happen to me..." That's an extremely passive statement. She made herself sound like a bystander not an active participant. I still have a hard time believing it never occurred to her to run on over to her closest Payless and buy a pair of cheap heels to practice in before the semi-finals (I can sort of buy it if she didn't bother before the initial audition because that could have been a bit of a lark but once you get called back, hello, get some heels). Shandi put in the effort; Lauren seems to not get it that she needs to do some homework.

i agree on that..heather had a bad walk too, but she looked okay when they asked her to walk again before she was aufed.

it looks okay if she wasnt a model. but you know, its better to see the beautiful face beneath the uncombed hair. lauren, i'll shampoo your hair.. put conditioner,rinse and comb it.. but i'll tie you up first

The way I interpreted that comment is that she's letting herself change (from punk girl to woman) and sometimes it's not easy and sometimes she struggles with it. Hopefully she interprets Jaslene's comment to her favor.

As for not practicing her runway walk...the same can be said for all of them simply because they haven't shown ANYONE practicing. In other words...I doubt she's not practicing. This is her weakness and she knows that. It's the editing.

She's grown on me and I hope she makes the final two.

Most of todays top models have horrendous walks, as long as they have the right look, it is simply not that big of a deal, I guess. IMHO, Lauren has the right look for high fashion, and she sure is photogenic, so she will do just fine as a model, whether she can walk or not.

Plus, I think walking can easily be coached compared to as having the right look and being photogenic
