Hey, I like that she likes the Ramones! So do I; good show on that one, Lauren.

They're not really that punk, though. Not that it matters - I think that if she likes bands because she genuinely likes them instead of liking bands because she wants to conform to a certain stereotype (e.g., punkrock chick), she's a cleverer person than most people today.

Im so surprised that she was homeless... she said she chose to be and that she had a great home life... train hopping, panhandling wow... so deep and inspirational how she has picked herself up.

Choosing to be homeless when you have a great home life is not at all the same as being genuinely homeless, though. She had something to fall back on. She could have gone home for a hot meal and a soft bed any time she wanted to. I appreciate wanting to experience different things, and maybe learning to respect people in a more thorough way as a result, but I think she would have made a better point, not to mention a lot more good, working at a homeless shelter or soup kitchen or something.

still pretty awesome to me... i never been homeless, i want a good and comfortable life. Sure i would go homeless if i had to but i depends on the choice. I wouldn't train hop, its crazy dangerous and the numerous comments on her panhandling just made me think. Im not rich or poor and genuinely admire her (and her swearing tendencies) very much.
