I thought her walk in the yellow bathing suit and during most of the go-sees was very bad, but she did walk better at panel. She's gotta get it together.

she's very reminiscent of heather from last cycle. where people cheer her on because she's awkward. she would never get booked in the real modeling world by clients with that walk, that height, and that weight.

Seeing her flip out like that is unfortunate, but so many people can't help it. It reminded me of how I feel at times. There are some people who treat you like dirt and try and tell you how to live, and it gets frustrating. Maybe it's not the smartest way to react, but it's genuine. I'm sure there was a lot of footage that they edited out because I doubt all of that was over coffee. I like Fatima, but she's a very strong woman who's set in her ways, and sometimes, being around that kind of person gets tiring and grating. It's sort of like a relationship I have with one of my friends. I love her a lot and think she's brilliant and strongly intelligent, but sometimes, having people tell you how you're supposed to handle situations and how you should set your priorities, it gets exhausting and frustrating.

I know Lauren doesn't have Asperger's, but I do and that's something we tend to do. It's not out of hate, jealousy, or any of the wrong reasons, it's just the way we react when we're frustrated. It's kind of like when Heather flipped out when the girls were using the shower. I like Lauren because even during her outbursts, you can see that she's a genuine person underneath it all. It's not like Dominique where she tries to pick on people to filter her own security and makes some completely out-of-line statements. As far as the "punk rock" thing, that's only the genre of music she listens to and the clothes she wears. That's nothing. There's certainly more to her outbursts than just her simply wanting to be "punk rock." I don't necessarily root her on because she does things perfectly, I root her on because I can relate to her.

that can be said about all of the contestants: they're all human, all have buttons that can be pushed, the majority have acted immaturely at one point or another. however i've seen none of them react the way lauren has. for all her faults i have yet to see dominique jump on a chair and yell at someone, yet to see fatima flip the camera off with a profanity laced outburst. everybody feels comfortable holding dominique responsible for her immaturity as well as fatima. yet when it comes to lauren, all of the excuses are brought out: it was editing! she was pushed to the edge! fatima is evil! dominique told her to mind her own business!!! no lauren is immature. thats all there is to it and probably has anger issues. she should be held accountable for her behavior and actions, and not given a free pass because she's the ~*~ punk rocker ~*~ who is misunderstood.

there seems to be a lot of excuses made for lauren just as there were for heather, thats why i've compared them. i remember laughing at her crying without cause because Jaslene simply asked if she really wanted to be a model. Then she whipped out the waterworks and said that that was a low blow because she's felt like she's put herself out there and put herself through antm to be a model. As if others haven't sacrificed even more than her? Dominique and Claire left kids behind, yet Lauren threw herself a pity party because she's the awkward girl who wants to model. as if she's supposed to get props for going through it. its like no, you're the one that wants to be a model sweetheart, deal with it.

i still love Lauren even after she flipped out with fatima. that B&*%$ fatima is trying to start s*** and piss ppl off. all the fatima fans cant say you've never blown up before and snapped, so i don't want to hear your antics. lauren is a sane person, but when youre living with fatima, it can be very easy to get pushed of the edge.
im still waiting for the day when lauren gets so pissed with fatima, that she pours her beer on fatima's stank weave, and then proceeds to knock fatima out with her beer bottle. hehehe!

i believe she blew up and jumped on the chair like a beast when dominique (rightly so) told her to mind her own business during her argument with claire.

whats hilarious is that cuckoo lauren was trying to play the part of peace keeper and when told to butt out she flipped her stuff and started jumping on chairs and yelling. add to the hilarity that the previous week she was like "you guys! yelling doesn't solve anything!!!" what a hypocrite.

ITA with everything you say. Every wrong that Lauren does just HAs to be everyone ele's fault, because Lauren is absolutely perfect, and she just cannot possibly have her own personal issues that she takes out on others, and she cannot be anything less than absolute perfection, right?

But that's not my point. My point is that with Lauren, you can tell she is genuine and her tantrums come more from personal frustration than anything. It's not like Lauren is being catty or antagonizing. When Dominique yells at people, you can tell it comes from a different place. She's trying to bring herself up to bring others down. And sometimes, she just makes low blows to make people look as awful as they can. Calling Whitney a racist not only was just wrong and she had nothing to prove it, it was just awful. And she did it to make Whitney look bad.

I support Lauren because I sometimes have tantrums like that and I don't consider myself a mean or angry person. And I know I have a lot of respect for people. It's just some people react in the moment and they can't help it. I'm not making excuses for her, I'm just saying I can tell where she's coming from.

you just brought up before that editing had to do with the coffee arguement. By that logic, how do you know that it didnt play a part in this one. Before Dominique called Whtiney racist, for all we know, she could have called all the black girls the N word or whatever.

She could have (which I highly doubt), or she could not, but be aware that this whole "what ifs" and hypothetical situation thing is not a concrete fact so there's almost no point to it. At all.

I hope Lauren is alright, it looked so painful when they were showing the preview with her hand! She's probably okay but I don't think I can bear to watch that part next week.
