Dominique's makeover is definitely one of those ones where I'm like "what was Tyra thinking!" Maybe Tyra pictured it differently than what the stylist ended up giving Dominique. Because I still think Dominique looks a lot more like a soccer mom than a model, even with the new hair color.

Again, calling someone white trash is not a racist comment since the remark is really directed to a specific white person and not the whole race. I'm not offended.

Dominique is half white,if she makes a derogatory comment against a race that she is part of, then I don't see how this can be considered racist.

It would be ridiculous (and rather hypocritical) to imply that an offensive racial remark "doesn't count" if the person saying it can prove some common heritage with the person they are offending.

Besides... I'm not excusing what she said - it was rude and uncalled for - but "white trash" is really more of a statement of someone's status and class, rather than a "racist," derogatory term applying to all white people.
