Beauty shots are needed. I waited for one editorial beauty shot in Cycle 9 and it never happened and it was a disappointment.

I hope that by "back to basics" she means real fashion shoots that can help the girls develop to go to the real fashion world.

I really do think that beauty shots will be included. They have been some of the best shots in antm history ... Anyway, I just heard about a girl who tried out for cycle 10 and withdrew her application because she wanted to study abroad for college. It is a story from a friend of a friend of a friend, etc. So I don't know the details, but somewhere along the line, Tyra's people told her to try out for cycle 11 and she won't have to go through all the steps of the tryout process. (I don't exactly know what that means). There is no need to say anything more since I don't even know if she plans to try out for cycle 11. But If I find out anything more promising, I'll make sure to let you all know ... back to cycle 10.
