I'm not comparing her with Kate Moss within the actual industry. Uh, hello. I am not delusional, Kate Moss will always be bigger than Saleisha. Kate Moss will always be bigger than ANY girl who appears on ANTM. I'm comparing scandals and how even though people thought Kate Moss lost her career, she actually got more high profile and better paying gigs after the fact.

Great interview. Saleisha is such a becautiful, professional, confident woman. And that's what I love about her. I liked how she said that she only surrounds herself with positive people and that she took the judges critisim as constructive. A lot of the girls couldn't handle it.

Good luck Saleisha make us proud. Now on to cycle 10!

I love how people say she is probably getting bored asking the same questions, when this is the only time she has been asked questions that come close to those.

See, with Kate Moss, she tackled a personal problem head on by taking responsibility for it and doing something about it. She "bettered" herself.

What has Saleisha done? Nothing for herself, she was given a free pass by Tyra & Co and that is why everyone hates her.

There is no comparasion here at all.

I don't think she was given a free pass. And not everyone hates her.

i like saleisha, but that was a booooring interview. she didn't offer anything insightful about herself - "i really just showed them my personality." "i really just wanted it." and that separates you...how?

To be honest I don't particularly like or dislike the girl, and couldn't care less about her "previous experience" or any other excuses. But, at the end of the day she was not the best, and she did NOT deserve to win and thats what hacks me off.

Even with her prior experience she's had to go through the same challenges and work just as hard as the other girls. Honestly, after a few questions, I can imagine for her that all these interviews don't seem like they are actually interested in her winning and more like interrogations to the validity of her win.
If person A already had some modeling experience and she had to compete with amateurs who knew not much about modeling like person B, C, D, E, F, etc., who do you think would win, person A or person B, C, D, E, F? She had to work hard because with the experience she still didn't get anywhere. That's why she got on the show as a boost to her career. Did you hear her, "yeah people notice me but not as many as it is now. It's crazy blah blah blah." How many people could notice her on the street before the show, about 10? And how many now, double or probably 10 times more? It's the publicity and the prizes that she was after. She bit off more than she could chew, so now she has to live with the consequences. She didn't won fair and square.

Re: America’s Next Top Model 9: Media Conference Call Interview with Saleisha, 12/13/

Guys...of course she is being coached. The whole show knows their head is on the chopping block with all this information out in the public. We will never get an answer. They will be completely political about it and run around the question without ever giving an answer. Question is....what will we do? They expect us just to accept it, and move into the next cycle. They will win. And sad thing is...that is what will happen. So no one will ever be held accountable for anything. Unless we actually do demand some kind of action.

Also.....if I have to read, you know, someone, you know, using, you know, the same, you know, words, you know, like all the, you know, time. I'm going to, you know, puke. Some one needs the interview coaching people to help her out.
