Also, it was worse then described here, Tyra actually went on to tell everyone that Joanie was fired by Beyonce and her mom, and that she herself got backlash because of it. She also kinda lectured Joanie on the event, it was uncomfortable to watch.

What I posted was not the first time Joanie talked about it, apparently she did another blog dedicated to it. I dunno, I love love love Tyra, but I don't think she was really thinking when she announced it, and how embarrassing it must of been for Joanie.

That being said, Joanie still has a lot to be thankful for in terms of what Tyra has done for her. Tyra gets a lot of flack here, but the truth is Tyra does a really good thing for these girls, and especially in Joanie's case with her teeth, and hiring her as a model on her show (since she hasn't had much work post show) If she really did say she hates Tyra in a video, well thats just catty.

Actually bucwild I think you misunderstood my theory. I believe that Tyra+Gang of Four never intended to pick Sara as the winner in the first place. I think that either a). Sara was never supposed to be in cycle 6 in the first place and that the spoiler about scouting a winner at the mall was true but that the scouting agents failed to follow instructions(they were probably instructed to pick a black girl since every third cycle of ANTM has had a black winner),and picked Sara against the wishes of their superiors,Tyra+Gang of Four. Tyra+Gang of Four would then have been shocked that Sara had been picked by the insubordinate casting agents. Tyra+gang of Four then went into panic mode and went to default plan B of picking Danielle who was picked in Saleisha like fashion. Or b). Sara was picked but that it was known from the beginning that Sara was never supposed to win(why would she get scouted only to be told later “You are probably too tall to model”) In this scenario Sara`s only reason for being on the show was to boost ratings ;her reason for being on the show had nothing to do with modeling. I think Sara has probably figured all of this out by now and that it is why she is so bitter about her ANTM experience.

Amazonophile, they never booted Sara for being too tall. It was because she was too awkward. She was my favorite girl that cycle and I think she should have been top 2 over Joanie but Danielle deserved the win.
