I think that this show benefits from being the top show on a fledging network. It gives Tyra too much leverage to do what she wants. Fan voting and/or live telecasts would definitely create forms of checks and balances because we are independent and the competition will not be entirely in the control of the judges or sponsors. IMO, the fans have always made better choices on model potential than the judges. Most of the winners would have never been signed to a major agency if they didn't win. If the fans were allowed to vote, I really doubt Saleisha would have even made it beyond the top 6 or 7.

If fans were allowed to vote, then it wouldn't even be our choice. It would still be the show's choice. The editors can make girls look like angels while other girls to be the biggest bitch ever. Naturally fans of the show will like the girls who get the good edit. There are a few times when people don't care about the edit the contestants get. Renee is an example of that. She was the bitch of her cycle, and she had quite a number of fans. Anyway what I'm saying is that on shows like American Idol, public voting works. Shows like ANTM don't work with public voting because they're edited.

I like heather, but i think she was WAY OVERRATED, like she took good pictures, yah but there was nothing else there.

I dont think she's overrated at all.

I think if it were up to the fans,
Bianca would be first gone, judging from the 1st ep.

Heather & Lisa would be the final 2 judging by popularity.

Saleisha would be in the middle i guess.

I don't think there is any way they can work it where Sal gives up her title and the runner up takes over. Too much egg on too many faces.
