She seems to be very social and says she enjoys being the center of attention and likes getting her hair, nails, etc done, which is really really odd for someone w/ Aspergers. It will be interesting to see how she deals w/ the other girls, changes in routine, stimming and obsessions.

I would just say it has various degrees of growth. I have Asperger's and my mother told me that when I was younger, I could hardly talk or complete sentences. I also always sat on the sidelines whenever people played sports. I was also told about how I once flipped out at a dentist for putting something in my mouth. Basically, Asperger's makes someone very obsessive. But I have grown into a very normal person and have overcome a lot. I think generally speaking, the difference between people like me and Heather is that we grow with age unlike most Asperger's people. I think she seems awkward in person, but is generally more functional than most. For me, I feel like Asperger's is completely internal and not at all external.

I think Tyra will like her a lot and form a soft spot for her. I'm just afraid she might turn out like a Brooke or Anchal who cracks under pressure. At the same time, I don't want them to be so easy on her to the point that they can't criticize her at all because she's autistic. I know a lot of kids watch ANTM at my school. At a local school, there was a kid with Asperger's who shot another student. Now, it seems everyone think's autistic kids are psychotic. I want this girl to come across as stable, sociable and relatable to break the stereotype.

It's most definitely all internal, not external. For the general Aspergers/autism patient, growth and development (mentally, not physically) depends on how young and how intensely you receive therapy. It's sad that autistic children are seen the way they are, hopefully Heather will change opinions a little bit.

Yes, she has many looks... & That's what the real Model should have. but we need more proff, so i'll be waiting for the next week to see what is she look like in real person, despite the adhd/asp. issues... she could be hated or to be loved!

I hope Heather is between 5'10- 5'11. 6'0 - 6'1 is not an advantage when you are a female model.

it's been a long time since i was last here. No offense, after jaslene won, i dont want to watch ANTM anymore.
but i should say Heather is the prettiest girl in this cycle. other girls are -___________- but i will have to wait and see how others perform.

i definitely support heather. 'cause she looks like model, and kinda like nicole from cycle 5. LOL

I completely agree, bbxoxo. ANTM just seems tired at this point. The winners don't work and it just seems like a big gimmick now. But I am optimistic about Heather. I wish Tyra would pick girls who look like the girls who are actually walking the runways today. Hello, Sasha, Lily, Jessica, Agyness, etc. There's something not believeable about the girls she likes. Just my opinion...take it or leave it.
