I can see them doing this for several reasons: The green movement and to stop polluting the air. As a health issue. As a role model issue. And for DRAMA, several smokers going through nicotine withdrawal during a lifechanging competition.

Yes, that's what happened, Saleisha no where stated that she was disgusted with interacting with Heather, it was Heather having some anxiety with working with Saleisha because of her autism. Saleisha did say that she gave up on trying to work with Heather, but she was not disgusted with it at all.

I reran my tape several times and had a very hard time figuring out what Saleisha said. I based my interpertation on the word touching and look of disgust on her face. If my interperation is wrong then I apologize. Still wouldn't it have helped both girls if Saleisah would have said to Heather lean on me, put your head on my shoulder. Heather, who is clueless about social interaction, and I figure all the girls know this by now, and needs some direction.



BTW: October is National Disability Employment Month.

Heather is her competition. Saleisha doesn't owe her anything.

What they don't understand is she's not going to cling to anyone. That's one of the issues with this disorder. Making friends is very difficult for people with aspergers/autism.

The reason I thought Saleisha should have helped Heather during this particular shoot is that a great photo makes BOTH of the them look better and that helps Saleisha stay. When you are working as a team, regardless of how you feel about the person, being a team player only helps you.

I'm sorry, I'm not getting the Heather love *ducks*. I didn't think her photos were all that outstanding and her walk is horrendous. I did think it was pathetic the way the other girls had to make themselves feel better and be part of the "in-crowd" by making fun of her behind her back and for that reason alone I do think she should have been called near the top. First? No. Victoria and Chantal took much better photos as did Lisa. Tyra and her love for drama probably just called her first to cause more hate in the house. *sighs*

Anyways, can't wait till the token b*tches are gone. I hate that part of the show. Got to have them for drama purposes.

Ebony does nothing for me. I don't find her pretty and her legs are scary looking.

The right girl went home. Too bad they couldn't have sent Ebony, Bianca, and the red head with the short hair right a long with her.

The photo shoot wasn't too bad and they are getting better with their photoshopping. Just wish this show would do more REAL photoshoots instead of these contrived messes that they try to pass off as editorial art.

I don't agree even though I see your point. A great example would be cycle 7 Mel Rose and Eugena in the Water Nymph shot. I LOVED Mel Rose's shot and hated Eugena's shot. Mel Rose didn't help Eugena, she just focused on herself and this didn't hinder her in any way from taking one of the best shots from that cycle (IMO).

If Bianca keeps her bitchy act up and keeps getting good pictures, she is going to go far, maybe even pull a Jade final three trick. I love Heather. She has a wonderful romantic look. I don't think she is right for this competition, but in the appropriate circumstances, with good coaching, she could be a great model. Provided the constant harping doesn't break her completely down, Tyra will keep her around because it makes a great story, but how is she going to fare in go-sees? And the show is always talking about people who are relatable, but probably not in the way a lot of the audience relates to Heather. We shall see. Anything can happen. This show is not known for its consistency.
