i don't usually complain about the girls' makeovers, but lisa's poodle hair was just abosolutely blah. seriously, I really wonder what was Tyra thinking.

Well, based on the previews they gave of the makeovers, what Tyra was thinking was NOT at all what Lisa got-- for some reason, even the color was wrong.

She didn't get it as bad as Bianca did, but why haven't they fixed Lisa to what Tyra originally envisioned? Are they testing her to see if she can make a bad hairdo work?

Right. Hope Tyra never uses that salon again.

Actually,I think Lisa's poodle hair is cute~~and I expect there will be at least one photo shot to show Lisa's pretty smile
In the recap episode,they gave her fewer scenes than others.......that's so disappointing.

I know I was saying the same thing. It made me scared like she might not win. I guess everyone had more drama than she did. I was looking at the situation with Bianca. When Bianca has said she wouldn't be a role model because she was a exotic dancer. I was thinking I rather my role model be a exotic dancer than somebody like her that is always in her face. I would not want to look up to someone like that.

I'm wondering if Lisa's lack of visibility in the recap episode = "stealth winner".

It seems that if they're really going to send her home, they would give her an edit that sets up some reason for the cut, like Victoria's three weeks of "talking back to the panel". They can never resist setting up everything that happens-- even Ebony's "shocking" self-elimination was more or less announced all through the episode.

So far, Lisa seems to be doing fairly well in the photo shoots but just not getting her best shot chosen by Tyra each week.

During the shoot footage, Jay Manuel is usually shown praising her-- and she always seems to follow his instructions well and seems to turn out a range of good shots, based on comments made during the shoot.

But then for some reason, Tyra picks a blah photo every other week (the bamboo, the plastic bottles) as her final shot-- not awful, but not particularly good.

I'm convinced there are always better shots each week, because she's clearly shown not being limited with her face or body during the shoot (like, say, Ambreal). If anything, Jay is shown consistently praising her for bringing it, rather than criticizing her for being too "safe".

I suppose this could mean that Tyra just doesn't like her for some reason we aren't seeing and wants to send her home. Or it could be that the sponsors have said "no way" to her, though I can't fathom why.

On the other hand, it could mean that the producers want the "reality show drama" factor of establishing Jenah and Heather as the ones to beat, and then both get cut in "shocking" eliminations and Lisa remains for the F3, the F2, and the win.

IMO, it seems that Lisa doesn't having a judge that's solidly in her corner. Her makeover didn't go as planned and she didn't get alot of airtime during the recap episode. She should at least make it overseas.

With the edit, lack of support from the judges and the lack of airtime, I doubt she'll get further than 5th place. Which is a real shame because YOU KNOW there will be a girl who makes it further that doesn't deserve it.
