Is she really part Jamaican??? By the way everyone, Lisa will not win! Someone stated it earlier, Covergirl wll not hire her due to her career as the exotice dancer. We all know Tyra do not like exotic dancers she may make it to top 6. We all know this is not who go the the best figures and the girl who looks like more of a model. I have my bets on a girl, I hear no one talk about yet....Bianca. On a honest tips most of the girls look like someone from a past season.

Re: Lisa - Cycle 9

Actually she is Jamaican and German she was born in jamaica(the island)...She has been in America since she was 5 years old..I am her fiance Im up here to support her, but she is actually a good girl she only danced four months out of her entire life(doesnt dance now or ever will again) she did it because she actually wanted to be a model she use to live in waterbury CT,she worked at radioshack for almost two years and she quit her job and left the life she knew to be a model in new york city and moved to the next best thing jersey city she hops the Path Train and in 10 min she is in the City....so when she found out that she had an oppurtunity to be on america's next top model she danced to get up enough money to take care of us and the rent and fly to LA because she missed the call backs around us well to make a long story short she went through alot to be on this show, she doesnt exactly have the family support to get her there any other way... she wanted to be a model and New York didnt make it easy ...but that is why she cried because she went through ALOT... She reads this site here and there she is so happy for everyones support honestly... and even curious about everyones opinion...just keep in mind reality t.v. isnt always real...trust me I was even turned off by the dance at first she explained everything it is actually kind of funny how it all came about...well I think I have said enough without getting in trouble...

She is going to get the "too commercial looking, too actressy looking" critique. Watch and see.
She's beautiful, though.

I don't think it matters whether or not she wins, cause we all the contestant's ranking on this show is in no way indicative of their future modelling success. Besides, I think she has amazingly symmetrical features and a long lean body, so I’m certain that that a good agency currently has their eyes on her like they did Samantha.

Re: Lisa - Cycle 9

I don't think her past should matter. If she is a good model and she does well in the competition I don't see why she wouldn't win. If Tyra has a problem with her background then she really shouldn't be doing the show if she is going to judge the girl based on her past. Plus she could end up being a role model for people that is doing exotic dancing showing them that it doesn't stop there you can make more of your life if you try. It's not the end of the world. So I don't see why it is a big problem

Nah, I think she'll either get the....

- You don't live up to your potential cut...

or the...

- You're not strong enough for this industry cut.

I think she'll at least make it abroad though.
