I totally agree with Guru's post 100% and I can see where Dax is coming from. When the show first started off it was about being able to all types of modeling. That's the reason why Adrianne won because Tyra though she was both HF and commercial and Elyse was just HF and Shannon was too commercial. But since then the show has evolved into a CG spokesperson and sob story show. Also Tyra wants the girls to be versatile because she was versatile. Tyra and her BFFs Molly Sims and Rebecca Romijn were able to do all types of modeling. Nowadays some models don't have to be able to do it all they just have to be great in one area. Chanel Iman strength is definetely runway and Selita Ebanks main strenth is commercial work. I think that Tyra sees Saleisha as another Selita but Saleisha is kind of pedestrian compared to Selita.

I have nothing against Saleisha personally, just don't think that she is the best model out of all the girls left.

I pretty much consider a model's picture unusable if there is no neck. An elongated mark is a model's trademark, it is what separates a model from an actress. Tyra has hold us, I don't know why she isn't putting into play with Saleisha, she absolutely refused to give her a bad critique, I don't understand.

Unlike a lot of people here, I actually love Tyra, I think she gives great advice on modeling, and I think her knowledge on the industry is vast (and she puts it to proof with the amazing pictures we see of her every week). However, I am really not on the same page with her on this one...

i don't agree I know shes been in the industry.but sometimes she just give excuse to eliminate girls and I don't think it Professional.

My mommy bought mushrooms today for dinner and for once, I ate my vegetables. ANTM was on TheCW at the time too and I was watching it and I had the great pleasure of munching on the mushrooms and my mom thought I was slightly out of mind for giggling and eating nothing but mushrooms for dinner.

Some what weird. But yeah.

What's wrong with her trying to get into the tradition of China especially when she's in China? Twiggy and Tyra said it a few times too and she's just trying to get into the vibe. It shows that she's an open minded person and personable. Just have to nit pick Saleisha at everything huh?
