| Re: Saleisha - Cycle 9 But once again, print work is not the only requirement. It is good for a model and if you can appeal the masses with the print work then fine but commercial modeling includes being a spokeperson too, which in that part Lisa wasn't the best. I'm not saying you are wrong, I'm just saying that print work is not the only thing. |

| Re: Saleisha - Cycle 9 Modeling agencies do have different sections for different types of models on their websites. Commercial Print, Editorial, Runway, are some examples of those sections.

| Re: Saleisha - Cycle 9 I know, but to be a top model you have to be able to master all of those sections. That's why Saleisha doesn't deserve to win. |

| Re: Saleisha - Cycle 9 No top model is yet to come out of this show so it's ok if one is just a commercial model but then again saleisha is not even a good commercial model, an actress maybe. |

| Re: Saleisha - Cycle 9 Realistically, no "top model" really works both fields. Sure, Tyra had her whole 25 shows in Paris and then swtiched to VS and SI, but she wasn't doing HF and Commercial work simultaneously. Even though it's not realistic, I think it's hard to say that one field is inherently better than the other, and to pick a great commercial model over a great high fashion model or vice versa... that's a tough call to make. I think it makes more sense to pick a girl who can perform well overall, in both fields, as opposed to only one or the other. I don't think that Saleisha has proved that, and therefore, I don't think it's fair that she wins. Chantal, IMO, is the only girl remaining who has commercial and high fashion appeal, and has shown the proper level of skill and talent to fairly take the win. |

It is required for a Top Model. Why do you think Tyra is always looking for commercial and editorial models? If you can't do high fashion you are not a top model and if you can't be commercial you are not a top model. A top model needs to master the commercial and high fashion world.

But still, Chanel Iman's success so far all came from her appearances in countless fashion week runway shows in the past 2 years, and her vogue cover. That's it.

| Re: Saleisha - Cycle 9 The only thing Saleisha is good for is to be a motivational speaker (like a guidance counselor - her one on one talk with Heather by the pool and her telling her to scream to get all her frustrations out after she bombed at Go See) and an instructor on how to walk (for runways). Model she's not. |
