Although I don't particularly like Saleisha compared to the other girls in the competition, I don't understand why people bash her so often. I mean it is really Saleisha's fault the judges are always praising her for what she does?

As long as the comments are within our rules, negative comments about reality show contestants are allowed.

You're right. I do kinda feel bad for Saliesha. I wonder if she reads message boards. It must not be a pleasant experience for her reading all the negative messages.

It's just the nature of public message boards. People who choose to go on reality shows set themselves up for it.

Well, I think one reason is that Saleisha just doesn't take very good pictures. I don't think she has even one amazing picture (unlike say Heather, Jenah, Lisa or Chantal). Second, she doesn't have a very edgy or high fashion or interesting look, she's kinda plain jane. Then there's that awful hair cut. Then she seems like a really sweet girl and for some reason everyone who is nice on ANTM is considered fake, you need to be really angry to be "real". Then there's also the unnatural attemps by the judges each episode to try and make her look better than she really is, "oh you're so great", "oh you're really improving", blah blah. And finally, she's lasting longer than many of the "favorites" and that is just never good.

I personally she doesn't deserve all the bashing, but you know, different strokes for different folks.

Hypothetically speaking, let's say she didn't go to T-Zone and didn't know Tyra and got the same edit. Would she be vilified? Probably not, she'd actually probably have a big fan base. i think that a lot of people dont mean to be hating saleisha that much.

despite the fact that i post things about her that are fairly harsh, i don't dislike her.. i resent her for still being there, but i really do think she's probably a nice girl.

im very angry at the judges, especially tyra, for giving saleisha such special treatment, and giving her praise that she doesn't deserve.

when people say a comment like "saleisha shouldn't be there"
or
"saleisha isn't high fashion"
or
"saleisha sucks"
they usually aren't saying anything bad about saleisha's character. its more that people just question her potential to work in this industry..

the fact is, an agent for an agency like elite in New York wouldn't even be allowed to send saleisha out on go-sees.
regardless of her sweet personality.
