at least as far as modeling goes. eva has been in some movies. but it still surprises me that eva has gotten half the work she has. i think what they meant by "top model going downhill", is probably just that since antm started working with elite models, the winners have sucked. so yes, haha. i blame elite. they should go back to IMG, and maybe then tyra will take the competition seriously enough to give the title to a deserving girl. if saleisha wins, i think it would show a lack of respect for elite models, covergirl, and 17 on tyra's behalf. but you're right, that this season has had some of the strongest girls yet.

| Re: Saleisha - Cycle 9 I'd like to know how Cover Girl feels about the girls who win - Danielle is the only one whose contract was renewed. Jaslene's commercials are ghastly - as stiff and forced as anything she did on ANTM. And not one of the winners seems to have become a genuine "Top Model". |

Top model is going down hill, because, although the final 13 were the best in antm history, the wlimination order is ridiculous. Saleisha and Bianca making it farther than Lisa, Ebony, Heather, Sarah, and Victoria, and presumably Chantal and Jenah based on what wev'e seen, is not reflective of a model competition AT ALL. While every season has unfair cuts, this season's wre by far, the worst. Eliminating a model who had the best covergirl photo of the bunch, and one of the best portfolio's? Eliminating a modelesque girl just because she tried to make conversation with Twiggy? Eliminating a model who evidently was loved by everyone, for she won cover girl of the week every single week excluding the first week? Making fun of a modelesque girl to the point wherwe she actually QUIT the show? That's why it's going down-hill. We are not just whining for our health.

In the night of Lisa’s elimination the commercial had to be judged and for that she was eliminated as well because of her lack of confidence and her previous weak week. The same goes for Heather. Probably one of the best models in terms of photoshoots in ANTM history but the fact that she actually had 3 weeks being at the weak spot was more than enough. She was suffering because she wanted it and keeping her in the competition doing bad was unfair for the other girls’ and it was unfair for her. Both of them couldn’t handle criticism and we all know the reality of the modeling industry, they tell you straight that they don’t like you and if you can’t handle that then you are not prepared to be a model. They both need time but I assure that we will see them again. Both are amazing and just by looking at them you know that their future is going to be brilliant. On another note the show is made without taking in consideration Covergirl of the Week. That’s a given so Covergirl of the Week doesn’t count in judging. They couldn’t keep her because she was winning them all because at that time they didn’t know. But you are smart so you know that.^_^ I think this competition has been fair and my only complains are that Bianca is still in the competition and the eliminations of Janet and Victoria. I think that from the beginning we are expecting too much of ANTM. Since the first episode they ever aired we knew this is a reality show. This not a 100% modeling competition and we need to be aware of that. Great models have left but the show balances a lot the drama and the modeling world. That explains a lot of things.

And if you want to know what is unfair, Saleisha making it this far for the sole reason that she went to T-Zone is unfair. Quote:

| Re: Saleisha - Cycle 9 Personally, I think they should dump covergirl and seventeen. They don't even use the winners in the ads and they always use celebrities. |

| Re: Saleisha - Cycle 9 Revlon was for Cycle 1, Sephora was for Cycle 2. IMG got was stuck with the overrated Yoanna .As for Elite, their track record is so-so when compared to Ford. Looking back and going through most of the Top Models forums wanted Caridee to win when it came down to the F3 and it was about 50 percent for Jaslene to win. If Saleisha wins, she will be a good CG spokesperson and a potentially good model.

| Re: Saleisha - Cycle 9 ^LOL, well it's your lucky year then. BTW, she looks cute in your avatar. Not high fashion or anything, but it's better than the hair she has now. Speaking of that hair, I saw a girl with a similar hair on the subway today. LOL, she was kinda ugly though. |
