If you want to watch a modeling reality show where it doesn't matter if you have a piss poor attitude and is only based on your potential as a high fashion model, watch AusNTM. Gemma and Alice were my two favorites in both their respective cycles, Gemma is in my top 3 of best NTM contestants ever. ANTM isn't the same and the only criteria based on a winner isn't how pretty your pictures are or how skinny and tall you are. Tyra has said so many times, AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL isn't only about your pictures (not to devalue Saleisha's pictures at all as I've loved them. Especially her tulip picture, it had more intrigue going on in it than most of the other pictures). She isn't talking about an actual new top model in America, she is talking about AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL, which is something SHE has created and has the final word on who she thinks fits it.

Saleisha may not be who you want to win, but after watching 9 cycles, it isn't hard to realize the type of girl who will win. Which is why most people are saying they think Saleisha wins whether they like it or not. You KNOW the type of girl that wins so get over your favorites not winning please, they're not want Tyra wants as her winner. It doesn't mean they're not good models, they're just not AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL.

A lot of the girls who have gone on to have good modeling careers had bad attitudes during panel, etc. Ann (and I love her), Elyse, Mollie Sue, AJ... they've all gone on to have good careers. Like I said, it doesn't mean they're bad models as they're usually better than the winners, it's just that they're not the personalities that Tyra wants to have represent her. Heather is too awkward and the first time Jenah had a bad critique, her whole demeanor changed and she looked angry. Saleisha has gotten bad reviews during panel a lot yet people are saying she gets unfair positive treatment. She is positive during her bad reviews, where other girls get defensive. ANTM isn't someone who gets mad or defensive, they take it and try to show the panel they've worked on it.

Saleisha is beautiful, to most people at least. You don't like her because you have different favorites in the competition and that's too bad. It isn't her fault the panel likes her so much. I see Jenah's and Heather's potential, I realize they're beautiful. It's too bad people are so biased they can't see Saleisha's potential. And yes, I'm talking like Saleisha wins this because I feel she is the only girl in this competition who can really hold the title of AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL. I really do believe that she wins.

BTW, lol @ my huge comment. I realize how ridiculous it is and I'm laughing at myself. I'm too obsessed with ANTM though and I love Saleisha. Like she said in the first episode, she's bomb.

you know what..you said it the best...if a girl wants great success do what Ann, Elyse, Mollie sue, Aj & other girls did...and yeah elyse, aj & mollie sue are some of my favorites...i always pick a edgy highfashion girl as a favorite but she never win except for cycle 4...but yeah what you said is true

saleisha was my favorite from the beginning, and she'll be one of my favorites until the end. so if she ends of winning, i'll be happy! but if not, i'd be even happier if jenah wins..(my other fav.)

People are Ok with HEather's disability and how gently Tyra and CO Subconsciously treat her, but they have huge problems with Saleisha because she once battled with Self Esteem and did the TZone thing....I am an MD and I have personally seen cases of suicide and acute depression in girls with low self esteem.ITs more common and more crippling ( for lack of a better word) than Autism.
And I honestly think that Tyra being fully awae that this is a highly Viewed show, is not dumb enough to mention Saleisha's T zone connection and then show favoritism!

I just have to tell you that this post was one of the favorites I've seen all season. Saleisha attending T-Zone had little or nothing to do with Tyra I imagine. After T-Zone, Saleisha is this gorgeous and confident woman. I agree with you, what Tyra is doing is a beautiful thing for young girls and it's awesome Saleisha came out of it being the person who she is now. And while most of us can all agree on what kind of person we think Tyra is, Saleisha winning is still promoting something completely positive and beneficial to girls.

She's a great role model. Jenah was a college girl who drank a lot, Lisa was a stripper, etc. Saleisha is a girl who had to overcome (what we've read) a porn star mother and who knows what else if that was true. People judge her for it but why not raise her up instead? She went a different route and seems to have overcame it.

Good for her, whether or not it's true.

Jenah could be a role model because she quit smoking
Lisa could just as easily be a role model for overcoming being in foster care and having to strip for money, every girl has had to overcome something and Saleisha is no different
Attending a camp alone does not make you a great role model, maybe if she made an effort to change and do things differently
But I don't even know if the camp had that much of an impact on her life, so I don't know if it can really be her "story"
I think growing up and lacking confidence at a young age is a pretty common story among women, although overcoming a porn star mom might be admirable
IMO, if they want to go for the best role model, they should pick Heather
If they want to pick the best all-around model, they should pick Jenah
However, I think Saleisha fits the prize package pretty well so she might take the title

after rewatching some of the episodes, i actually like saleisha more than i did before.

she has very beautiful eyes. and she's very cute.

but she still looks way to much like tia mowry for me...
