Heather couldn't flourish under a high stress environment. Her covergirl picture was gorgeous, and with time I'm sure she could have produced a fine commercial. Jenahs commercial wasn't great either, but neither was Nicole's in cycle 5, but they forgave her because she was stronger than other contestants. Comparing Jenah and Saleishas portfolios and their commercials, the much larger gap lies in portfolio. Both of their commercials were terrible, but Jenah was a better competitor overall.

And I don't think you can call Chantal a princess and Saliesha a queen. There is nothing "queenly" about Saleisha. Her commercial was the second best, but still abysmal, and her MLAACG spots airing now are painful to sit through.

Saleisha did have the best walk, but again, it wasn't that much better than Jenah's.

She did not have a good vibe, her pictures were not amazing. She was never the best by far in any feild as Jenah or Heather was. Saleisha was a poor choice, and it's ok for us to have fun at her expense. That's what you sign up for when you go on a reality TV show, so let us have fun.

Class A bitch? What! The whole bed thing was ridiculous! Think about it. The girls had to deal with Heather and her ways for weeks and once they get to China, once they're the final 6, let alone that how you put it 'a girl with mild autism' she's anyone and Saleisha happened to be the one who darted for the huge bed, and then she asked to share with her. I honestly don't think that at the end of that, Heather having austism had anything at all with Saleisha wanting a bed to herself. Cut her some slack. Besides the bed situation give me 3 example of how she's this so called Class A bitch.

Imo, Saleisha and Chantal equally had the best commercials for the queen collection week and I'll admit, you're right that Saleisha isn't a queen compared to Chantal's princess-teenager personality, but I see her more as a young woman in general than Chantal.

Remember that I'm not really happy with her winning and I think every other girl in the final 6 were much more high fashion than she was, but but but she won completely when it comes to commercial and that's a huge chunk out of the top model pie.

All I'm really arguing is that I can't stand it when I see posts saying she's ugly she's awful she sucks yadda yadda yadda when for me the only thing that defined her from many girls in cycle 9 is just that she is SO commercial and hardly high fashion.

last thing, and I repeat: her Great Wall pic was brilliant and amazing beat down every other pic that week and that is truly the one thing you can never take away from her. HA

This might be off topic but, do the ANTM contestants ever have their commercials air in the USA? I have never seen a single ANTM winner in TV commercial or CoverGirl Magazine Ad in Canada. (But I have seen YaYa's Olay Commercial GORGIOUS)

Ok class A Bitch was an exaggeration, but I don't think she was a nice girl at all either. Even if Heather's disability was annoying, she and Bianca constantly treated her like she was a little girl and like she was below them. Like in the shower, they never would have spoken that way to another contestant.

And the body on her great wall pic was fantastic, but the face, not so much.

And I'll say this again, I think Saleisha is quite pretty. She just isn't model material. Commercial is a huge deal, but the win should be a compromise of the two, even a little from both. Saleisha was decent in one, and abysmal in the other.

and you're arguing something that is permanent. saleisha is permanently the winner of cycle 9.

A lot of stuff is permanent that still merit argument. Just because I can't change something doesn't mean I can't discuss it. We can't change what happened at the Yalta conference, but we can still talk about whether the decisions made were right or not.

God I just compared ANTM and World War 2. Someone help me.

OK I agree with the last few posts from both sides of the argument. Yes I passionately dislike Saleisha and lets be honest would relish the opportunity to continue bashing her, but at the same time understand that it will get us nowhere.

However, the one thing I cannot read about without passing comment on is the so called "greatness" of her Great Wall shot! Anyone can jump up and down and pout and then stick high fashion on it, in fact I'm sure tyra suggested she do something like that to make it more dynamic. And to the person that suggested it was by far the strongest picture of that week I kindly request that you try and look at Chantal's photo from that week, she clearly owned the shoot that week.

I'm finished with bashing her for no reason, not that I ever did that much anyway I've always given just an honest opinion. I now look at her new work from an unbiased point of view and yes have even complemented some of the new stuff. However, I cannot bare to listen to people try and tell me that her portfolio was strong and that she had anywhere near 5 "amazing photo's." I actually find that patronising and condescending because it's a lie.

some people (a few lol) like dora and others (the majority) don't like her or hate her.
why I don't like this girl:
-favoritism by tyra and nigel
-weakest portfolio ever for a winner (her only good shot was the covergirl juicy)
-her attitude ala "know it all" because she had previous work
-a fake sweetheart and I cant' stand that
-previous connections with big mama
-physical= no neck, awful tomato nose, dead eyes, hair could be better

and the most thing is that we had LISA, HEATHER, CHANTAL and JENAH and at the end, the cartoon girl won, I find that VERY odd that she won against thes girls...

It's funny, I'm reading these posts and people keep saying "oh, she's so commercial, commercial COMMERCIAL", but truthfully, she would even make a horrible commercial model. Both of her Cover Girl photos looked awkward and forced, and meanwhile, Jenah is truly the "high fashion" girl, both of her Cover Girl photos are 10 times better than Saleisha.

I agreed with whoever said that people exaggerate Saleisha as a hag. She's not a hag, she's just a pedestrian, super un-talented girl who won over a cycle of modelesque, high fashion models.
