As for the for the Elite NY New Faces Out of Town Section, I noticed Samantha ( I adore her) is there as well. Since it is been established that the Out of Town section is for the girls that just can't cut it in New York, is she one of those girls too (double standard point will be made

Samantha was In Town initially, but now she's in Hong Kong.

Samantha didn't win yet she was signed by Elite. I doubt that would be the same case if Saleisha didn't win.

That's true. That same agruement could be made for the rest of winners but that's a hypothetical what-if that we will never know because it didn't happen.

Saleisha is just not NY. She is very LA, though I've seen waaaay more modely LA types. She's the bottom of the barrel LA. OK, maybe I was a bit harsh. She is for sure not NY.

"Out of town" does not mean "can't cut it in New York". It means that the girl is literally unavailable in that particular town at that point in time because she's somewhere else (whether that's because she's actually working elsewhere or permanently resides in another town). For example: a model can be signed to a bunch of agencies overseas, but when she's in NY, those agencies will list her as "out of town". Not because she isn't good enough but because she's not actually there to take any jobs.

One can reside (permanently) in NY and be listed as out-of-town. However, as far as we know, that is not the case with Saleisha as she has said that she was staying in LA. I gather that this is where the idea of her not cutting it is coming from because fashion week castings are approaching and there really is no other reason for her being away other than the rumours being true.
