I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt and assume she did think of this. She would have to be extremely dim or stupid not to.

At the end, the negatives effects of her agreeing to go with Tyra's plans (fans complaining about the unfairness) do NOT outweigh the positives (getting her name out there and having a career).

We also don't know that Saleisha was aware that she was the shoe-in to win. A lot of people think it was suppose to be Ebony's cycle. I think she just thought that she could use her connections to Tyra to get on the show, she probably didn't know she was going to win.

Well, someone with ethics would decline such an offer. Ethical people don't want to achieve via nepotism or similar connections/favoritism or the perception of a rigged contest. Ethical people want to be evaluated on their own merits.

Being famous doesn't equate success. Some folks (myself included) might be disinclined to purchase products she's modelling. Most product advertisers would be wary of hiring someone associated with scandal to model their products. Scandal does not ensure real success and with very few exceptions, that sort of fame lasts about 15 minutes. The Paris Hiltons of the world, those are famous for being famous and nothing else, usually have trust funds to fall back on.

It's too bad all this stuff had to happen to Saleisha.

I liked Saleisha, she seems like a sweet girl, and she has charisma.

The only thing that bugged me was those tattoos on her neck.

Does anyone think she knew she was going to win before the show?

I mean...

In castings she told Chantal they will both be final two (big coincidence) It sounded like she knew she was gonna win. And "Saleisha is here and I ain't going no where". And when Bianca & Saleisha had their big arguement she was like "I probably will win" Sounded like she already knew. And in episode 4, she sounded really confident that she would never be in the bottom two, knowing that she would win.

Interesting... I think she was a sweet person...sometimes. But she only had 4 good pictures IMHO. (Smoking, Rockclimbing, Burning Car & Lion Dance)
