The after-finale pics we were shown aren't that great. If you noticed, her face is covered up in EVERY picture. Why? Her face will never read high fashion. Just imagine the photo with her face up, visible for people to see. If that did happen, she would kill the high fashion-ness of the dress.

If I were a model and Tyra chose me as ANTM I would take the crown just like anyone else. I think the bash is unnecessary. I youtube'd Saleisha and found videos of people actually bashing her lol. It's horrible. Poor Saleisha

I congratulate her win and still think her personality will take her far places regardless of how mediocre people think her pictures are. Truth be told, there weren't many GREAT models in this cycle (except for my Ebony, i love her lol).

Actually, the fact that THERE WERE MANY MODELS BETTER THAN SALEISHA is what angers me about her win. Jenah and Heather both didn't take a single bad photo. Lisa had some amazing photos. Bianca had a bigger improvement than saleisha and i actually think her portfolio is stronger than saleisha's. Chantal was much better than her as well. And why was Jenah eliminated? they didn't give a reason... which leads me to believe even more that antm is more about spewing needless rainbows than taking one of the best portfolios i have ever seen

Every time I see her face I think of all the girls that were robbed of a position on ANTM. A girl like my sister could have been in this cycle, but no, we get Smelliesha. Thats what angers me about her, because she was obviously selected to be in the cycle before it was in the works.

Whatever, she won't go anywhere. We'll forget she even won in about a year. =\

Jaslene didn't surprise me. I knew she was gonna do great

But anyways, Saleisha's eyes will be her downfall. They do so much photoshopping to the puffiness under her eyes and in the picture with Tyra, her eyes look so off and disproportioned.

Yes Saleisha has puffiness around her eyes but so does Chanel Iman. And even though I loved Chantal she was the queen of uneven eyes. I never really noticed until the finale and when I went on Fourfour and Rich had gifs during the whole cycle showing how uneven her eyes were. Back to Saleisha, I recently found out she was signed by Photogetics and was in their Runaway Division.

That's true but the thing is there have been other girls on this show who couldn't make it preshow in modeling but once they did the show their careers took off.

TBH @ most Saleisha will do well runway and urban modelling...She will never be doing high fashion, IMO!

I think another thing that made me not warm up to Saleisha is that I don't think the show was edited in a way to make you really care about her. Usually (and I feel this is even true about Jas and Cari, who were shown less than say Adrianne or Eva), they show how the girl has really wanted it throughout the show's run, and the winner usually reflects on the judges' criticism. I feel at the end, that was all shoved into the China episodes. Like suddenly the panel was like "oh she's so high fashion!" Or Saleisha, "I feel my dream slipping away". I don't remember too much about Saleisha early on except that she was pretty braggy and she went to the T-zone camp. Most of the focus was on Heather or Bianca or someone else. By the middle, I was like, I barely know this girl, and don't remember half her pictures, so she came across very dull to me. I remember liking her the first two eps, because she wasn't doing too much, and Bianca was getting on my nerves more, but she's still rather flat. Maybe the Seventeen mag article will illuminate me. Eh.
