Looking at her and Saleisha in the finale, it was pretty humorous because Chantal has absolutely NO ROOM on her face for any of her features and that is not a model. You can disagree with me all you want but the next time you watch the show, maybe you can notice it even if you don't want to admit it.

Also, this fake scandal won't harm her career at all. If anything, it will just make it bigger. Kate Moss (coke), Vanessa Hudgens (nude pics), Paris Hilton (drugs, porn, racist remarks, all around total douchbaggery), etc. helped their careers, not tarnish them. It draws attention to whoever hires them, and people who have a hard time getting attention ESPECIALLY like them. Having a girl in a scandal (because scandaleisha girls always draw the most attention) is a very attractive thing to a LOT of clients. And it's not like Saleisha won't show up on set, she is obviously very fun and exciting to work with. The scandal will mean nothing to anyone when she is working for them hard and bringing them a lot of attention and business.

Actually, if you would take the time to view real international-class runway shows on style.com or such, you'll notice that most of the girls are pinheads....tiny heads with big features. The small heads make them look even taller. Average-to-large heads aren't considered modelesque.

I can also guarantee you that Tootie was not paid as an amateur for that Wendy's commercial...I'd even bet she had to join a union (or least get on that road) in order to appear in it. I've been in 2 arts unions and AFTRA (sister union to SAG) required us to join BEFORE we could be part of a concert that was going to be recordered for CD release. I bet she also got paid for being in the ANTM C6 runway show, and the runway show on Tyra's show and the "look for less" appearance also on Tyra's show and for the various reginal ads she's done prior to being on C9.

Kate Moss was already a supermodel/household name by the time scandal hit her...scandal wasn't at the start of her career...she already had agents and bookings...years of them. Paris Hilton is famous only for being famous...she doesn't get paid for it. She has to constantly embroil herself in scandal to STAY famous....not a very good thing actually.

And sorry...amateurs don't get more than stipend pay. I've been on both sides of that fence as a classical singer. A community Gilbert & Sullivan group, where the vast majority of performers are amateurs and do NOT get paid would hire a couple of pro ringers...I did a few shows with them and got paid scale for those appearances. The professional orchestra got paid. The amateur chorus did not get paid; the amateur principals did not get paid. If you're being hired for pay, that is not amateur. It means "a person who engages in a study, sport, or other activity for pleasure rather than for financial benefit or professional reasons." [dictionary.com] Amateur athletes have never received payment for playing. Amateur literally means "for the love of it" (from the Latin amare, to love). When amateur is used as a derogatory, it means someone who isn't very good/someone who is unskilled. So saying Saleisha's professional/paid gigs were amateur means you're saying she kinda sucked in them...is that what you meant? If so, my apologies...as a performing artist, I use the term amateur in the professional (paid) vs. amateur (unpaid) sense which is the primary meaning of the word.

The difference is that none of those girls had direct and indisputable prior connections to TYRA before being on ANTM. If we put aside all other work Saleisha did prior to ANTM (Wendy's commercial, regional clothing ads) we still end up with at least FOUR direct connections to Tyra (ANTM C6 runway show, 2 Tyra show appearances, T-Zone camp) and therein is the real conflict-of-interest issue. If those connections didn't exist, I don't think there'd be the furor that's going on...the viewing public has every right to find that extremely suspect and unfair to the other contestants. If those connections weren't there, folks would just dismiss Tootie as yet another bland, boring, unmodelesque winner of ANTM which has certainly churned out a bunch of failures LOL

I find Jenah decidedly unattractive "in person" but I've had to admit the girl is incredibly photogenic. It's one of those weird things some people have. So frankly, I find she fits that "unexpected beauty" thing much better than Saleisha who I find unattractive in person and pretty much unphotogenic LOL Chantal to me is the opposite...pretty girl in person, not very interesting in photos.

Shandi has said numerous times that the stigma of ANTM is one of the main reasons she had trouble breaking into any real modelling after the show. The industry doesn't look at being on ANTM as a good thing.

First of all....What the hell is Top Majestic Model? Never heard of it. Is it only for Black girls? Isn't that what the "Queen" line is?
