COACD don't work with big , big designers. but even so i doubt he'll cast Saleisha with any of his contacts. because if he does they will drop him like a hot potato and curse him with , "how dare you INSULT my line with that fugly short, thick neck girl! She's not a model!" and i don't think he doesn't want to destroy their relationship

and when you have Heather, Jenah, Chantal , Lisa and he presents a Saleisha to his contact is a great insult to the designer. and jeopardize his cabilities. lol

Saleisha fought for the title. No matter what she was in the competition and she showed that she tried her hardest to get good photos. She was not the best but saying she didn't fight for the title is far from being true.

Dora didn't fight for the title. She didn't have to. It had her name on it from day one.

However, she SHOULD get an Emmy award for "Best Performance in a Reality Show" because she acted her butt off all Cycle!

I honestly think we are blaming her for something she has no control of. She's not responsible for Tyra giving her the title.

She fought because they showed how much she cried and how much she attempted to be high fashion. She wasn't but she tried.

I don't like that she won, there were better models but I think people are crossing the line. Really...

I'm quite familiar with COACD and its contacts. Jaslene and a myriad of other ANTM girl's polas were posted on COACD last cycle.

Plenty of girls with previous modeling experience have been on the show before, t- zone endorsement ? Well then Saleisha is doing a horrible job since she hasn't mentioned it at all since the casting episode.

at least they were photogenic. but overall they didnt go onto big shows. not even a decent editorial.

Some people are taking Saleisha winning a LITTLE to serious! Be honest; beides Eva, Nicole, and Jaslene, what winners have gone on to have a really sucessful career? EXACTLY.

While there were better models this cycle (Lisa, Heather, and the ever HIDEOUS CREATURE Jenah), none of them needed the stigma that's usually attached to the title! All of them can go on to be sucessful, working models without the title, and are actually better off. Would you want Jenah or Lisa forced to make ANTM Appearances every cycle and do MLAACG sots for the next year, and fade into oblivion like Niama, & Caridee have done so well? Exactly.

Like it or not, TYRA makes the decision at the end of the day. She's usually picked someone she saw something in, and during Saleisha's audition, she made it CLEAR that she already knew Saleisha, which makes it obvious that she's aware that Saleisha had worked in the past 5 years. Tyra's a producer for ANTM, so she pretty much can void whatever part of the eligibility clause if she WANTS to, because she has the right as producer. That's probably why Saleisha ended up on this cycle.

And unfortunately, I HATE to pull this card, but with the pattern that was going on, Jenah or HEather wouldn't have won ANYWAYS. Covergirl is the leading sponsor, and they are usually responsible for decided what they need for each cycle; this year was OBVIOUSLY meant for a black girl to win. It was just convienient that Saleisha was dragged into this cycle, that she ended up being the winner.

Hate it or love it, Saleisha won. (I love it, BTW.) She's definitely worked in the past, but as Tyra said, without ANTM, she'd be a mediocre model (now she's decent!). I'm sre her connections with Tyra helped her win, but you can't deny that her past experience helped her (especially with the runway experience that she has). She won, you guys should either accept it, or just act like we're in cycle 8, when Jaslene "won". REMEMBER; Jaslene had worked for Avant Garde Models before she applied for Cycle 7 AND Cycle 8, had graced amateur covers and EVERYTHING, but NO ONE brought it up? If that's the case, JAslene's win was rigged too, because she also broke the "elibility" clause.

Those last shots look like high school senior pictures. I don't think they are terrible, but that's just the first thing I thought of when I saw them.

Those pictures posted in the last group are eh, not very good. I think that hair is even worse than what she has now. She should've kept that lengh, but gotten it streightened out.

And does she look like Camille in that last picture or is it just me?

So the pictures I'm presenting right now are from Especially Yours.

It seems Saleisha is modeling wigs. Judge for yourself. My honest opinion is that I'm not a fan of the pictures. I like the third pic with the red highlights, only that one. On the other hand I have no idea if she did this before the show or after the show.
