I just want to see Saleisha with new hair please

Re: Saleisha - Cycle 9

They criticized Saleisha because the dresses didn't look as good as they looked on Chantal and because of her shoulder. They said that Chantal needs a bit of Saleisha and Saleisha needa a bit of Chantal.

In fact, I think those dresses looked superb on Chantal's body the problem was Chantal's walk.

I don't think she had much choice but to mention it. The end of that particular run was so over the top 'rap video' you couldn't miss it. However, her exact words were "...got a little like this sometimes. Just a little." She then went on to excuse her by telling her how she could relate to her.

It just seemed to me a bit obvious. They excused some pretty big flaws in Saleisha while calling Chantal out on things beyond her control.

i know, and i'm glad tyra acknowledged it,
but saleisha told the camera 7427343 times that she was going to 'WORK IT!'
it's like she had no concept of the subtleties of the theme.

Re: Saleisha - Cycle 9

you know how the theme is of this cycle is "the future of fashion" and who else would win but tyra's protege from "t-zone". is this tyra's way of telling us that tyra is the future of fashion. yuck, saliesha has got to be the worst winner yet.

Re: Saleisha - Cycle 9

I'm very happy for Saleisha winning. She did a great job.

Chantalle was also fabulous! I'm very glad she was in the final two.

The judges are the judges and they really never makes sense with their critiques and critisisms IMO. I think either girl was good enough to win.

I think Saleisha edged out Chantalle because of her confident walk and her big smile.

I hope that Chantalle will continue and I'm sure she will be picked up by someone. She is a beautiful girl with a gorgeous body.

I wish them both all the best in their futures!!

The guy who runs the Superficial has posted about Saleisha 'breaching the rules,' along with it is a new (?) picture of Saleisha, can't post the link, obviously, but it's there.

Re: Saleisha - Cycle 9

Just saw the finale. Yeah, once again I'm completely clueless as to why Saleisha is so hated. I came to the conclusion that it's because people knew so far in advance that she was going to win. Because there is absolutely no other reason why she gets called such terrible names.

Both her and Chantal were two of the sweetest top two contestants ever.

You can't link to Superficial, but you can to E News Online. Here's what they said...

Quote:
...Though it was made clear from the outset of the season that Saleisha had a prior relationship with Tyra Banks, having attended the supermodel's T-Zone camp for underprivileged girls when she was 14, viewers were given no indication that the twosome's acquaintance extended beyond that experience.

However, sharp-eyed fans soon dug up footage showing Saleisha walking the catwalk in an ANTM cycle-six fashion show, as well as appearing on the runway in an episode of The Tyra Banks Show.

Viewers also found that Saleisha had appeared in a nationwide Wendy's commercial that aired in 2006, seemingly in violation of an America's Next Top Model eligibility rule that states would-be contestants "must not have previous experience as a model in a national campaign within the last five years (including, but not limited to, appearances on television and print advertisements)."...

Re: Saleisha - Cycle 9

I don't know if something like Wendy's commercial is what they meant when they said 'no advertising campaign.' LOL, it's not like she was in a campaign for say Valentino or something.
