Saleisha - Cycle 9

Although I have made many negative posts, I don't hate Saleisha
She is "pretty" and has a very nice personality
I'm just saying I don't think any excuse can justify Saleisha winning over Jenah
As I stated in the Jenah thread, Jenah is a better editorial model and really even a better commercial model
People constantly insult her as just a "commercial model", but quite frankly, she's not even that
Look at their CG photos in comparison
In her final 6 CG photo, Saleisha just looks dreadful, her cheeks are puffy and she has bags under her eyes and it looks awful and forced
Meanwhile, Jenah, the high fashion girl who could supposedly never be a cover girl, nails her CG shot while barely even looking at the camera
And in the final 3 CG shoot, Saleisha looks stiff and she's shrugging her shoulders, she looks awkward while Jenah just nails it with just a glance back at the camera
I don't think she's ugly or a bitch, I just think she's a pretty mediocre model and no matter how much Tyra serves Saleisha on a silver platter, she's simply not on Jenah's level
The favoritism will be clear if she wins because Jenah basically beats her in all aspects of modeling

Here is another rule
18. Applicants will be chosen from across the United States for an
approximate total of nine to fourteen finalists and possibly two alternates. The Producers reserve the right to change any of the eligibility requirements and terms, including the terms of any prizes to be awarded at any time without notice]

So even if Saleisha did violate the rules ( which she didn't IMO), the producers could still let her be on the show because of rule #18.

it is ridiculous. They can change the rules to fit whoever they want into the competition which makes the show seem even more bias.

I may not be Slaeisha's greatest fan and I don't think she's a bitch, she seems really nice. Editing does its wonders for reality TV. But I think she's had a few good photos; however, compared to the other two finalists she isn't up to par as far as consistency and strong portfolios go. I hope she wins so she can join the rest of the winners...in the unemployment line. 'Cause really, it has been a trend for non-winners to end up doing better in the modeling world than the real winners.

Gosh, rewatching the cycle, I just don't get it
How in the hell did Saleisha and Bianca make it further than Heather/Lisa/Victoria and even Sarah/Ebony/Kim? It makes no sense

Yeah, beside doesn't the rule say you have to be at least 5'7"? Eva was below that and she was in the show... I don't care if it's just 1/2", they even said 1/2" matters in modelling world. Hm... I wonder if anyone complained about that when Eva was in the show? I don't think they did.

That rule didnt come until after Eva's cycle.

Are you serious? I mean you have to be tall to be a model and none of the models were below Eva before her or after her... And not only that they put Eva as 5'7" in the site as well.

Saleisha will be one of those winners (IF) she wins, that the public will dislike. Good luck trying to sell products with her face on it Tyra and cover girl.
