I am thouroghly conviced Nigel was just looking for any way he could to undermine Sarah`s confidence and quite frankly was even going to the extreme of making Sarah herself think that she should be eliminated. At one point Sarah even said that “I am too skinny and to heavy at the same time and that there I something wrong with me. “ The last part of that quote is quite creepy and makes me think that Sarah may have been brainwashed somehow into thinking herself that she ought to be eliminated. I also noticed that near the beginning when all of the girls were quoted saying they would not go home Sarah was conspicuously absent from that scene. It seems to me that that is a sign that Sarah thought she deserved to be eliminated.

I know what you mean. BTW they never showed Sarah in the kneepad scene( I wonder why?), and Tyra told Sarah she did well in the crawlfly scene. Tyra also told Chantal that “ she was running on half a tank of gas “ yet kept Chantal and eliminated Sarah.

Exactly, BTW why did Sarah not get her own video scene like the other girls why was she lumped in with Saleisha. It seems to be like Tyra+Gang of Four were treating Sarah like a second class citizen.

rbmeek I am convinced the fixation on Sarah`s weight was only a strawman /decoy to serve as a cover for what I believe the true motive for Sarah`s elimination was. I think you hit the nail on the head when you said that “Tyra and Co is exploiting that young lady just for ratings” I think pure and simple that is what Sarah`s elimination was really all about pure and simple: ratings.

So did I. I also wanted to “deprogram” Sarah of Nigel`s propaganda about her weight. The psychological effect that Nigel(and how many of the others in the Gang Of Four+Tyra),had on Sarah reminded eerily of what happens to people when they join a cult. Whenever Sarah talked about her own weight it was as if Nigel had programmed his propaganda into her.

If her weight was such a problem, then don't cast her in the first place. Sarah was only the 6th girl eliminated, so they couldn't have been in the house more than 4-6 weeks, right? So how much weight could she possibly have lost? 10 lbs? You cut this girl over ten pathetic pounds?

It is because I dont think weight was ever really the issue in the first place.

exactly. This was not only the worst elimination of this cycle but one of the worst ever in ANTM history along with Sara(C6)`s elimination which I am still mad about.

I'm sorry, but I think Sarah getting cut was necessary. She's a gorgeous girl, but she's horrifically, ridiculously bland to the 'd'. She was a walking snoozefest. She never stood out pictorally. In person she was charismatic and gorgeous, but it never went beyond that.

For the record, I slept perfectly the night Sara (C6) got cut. Her elimination came way too late.

i have to disagree with the people who say Sarah deserved to go home.

She was in the top 4 when it comes to pictures in the eyes of the judges (Lisa, Jenah, Heather, Sarah) ... and she was in my top 3 (Lisa, Jenah, Sarah).
She is in the middle in terms of call-out averages.
She has a great personality (Streaking, Tyson Beckford, etc)
She's won a challenge.

Her elimination really made no sense. Of course she is going to feel conscious of her body when she is the biggest girl in a house full models AND the judges keep talking about how she is losing weight. Come on!!

At any rate for now Sarah will go back to her alter ego of Vita Lightly of the Boston Babydolls. Sarah will be performing with the Boston Babydolls at the Brrrrlesque performance on December 15 at Coolidge Corner. I wish I could be there to see her perform. I am sad I cannot be there in person to see her as Vita Lightly. I am going to look up the Boston Babydolls on line and see if I can find any new pics of Sarah in her Vita Lightly role. 3. Where did you get the idea to put that piece of paper up your nose during your first audition?

My great-grandma Annie taught me that trick when I was about ten. We were in a Friendly's and she did that trick, and I laughed until I squirted milk out my nose and I have loved it ever since. I wanted to stand out and it was the only thing I could think of! Some people hated it, but, if it gets you on the show it's worth it, right? I can be really immature and ridiculous sometimes, but at least I'm memorable!

Although I couldn't see her winning the competition, is there anyone here that would agree with me in saying she's probably the best "plus-size" model ANTM has ever had? I know the weight question is iffy but I really think she topped Tocarra, Diana and Whitney.
