It was a very creepy premonition of what I feared would happen last night and I think that the connection between the scene I discribed in the recap episode and Sarah`s elimination last night was no accident. I actually wonder if Nigel  was diabolical enough  to have in effect deliberately undermined Sarah`s confidence (resulting in Sarah`s creepy zombie-robot like self criticism in the recap episode), and then in this episode used what quite frankly was psychological torture techniques to undermine her confidence further in this episode resulting in Sarah almost having a nervous breakdown in front of the judges and then used her collapsed self confidence as (planted) evidence to eliminate her. It also seems to me in retrospect that Sarah(C9) like her cycle 6 namesake was chosen to be on ANTM for reasons that had more to do with television then modeling. Quote:

| Re: Sarah - Cycle 9 I didn't like when Nigel said that Sarah is uncomfortable with her body. only based on the expressions that she gave during panel. I think she was more likely "laughing" at how she and Saleisha looked in the video. |

She is not the typical plus size girl nor is she an unhealthy skinny anorexic it really disturbs me that they had to bring that subject up, and Tyra and Co is exploiting that young lady just for ratings and my thoughts of Nigel is that he is a fine judge but he needs to be careful what he is saying and bringing up her weight as to whether she is losing the weight or whatever. That was totally uncalled for. Nigel has a myspace account you can go to his myspace account and voice opinion to that pompous ignorant British twit and he does have a website too. Voice your opinion and to Tyra and Co. she also has a myspace account or to The Tyra Banks Show website and leave a messagewhat you think. Quote:

| Re: Sarah - Cycle 9 Great face, thought she looked really good in the video. I'm surprised no one ever criticized the shorts she always wore in panel. She looked sloppy. People have been called out for not looking like a model in person for wearing much better! As for the weight, she can't be the only girl who lost weight. They are probably really active and eating less while on the show- duh! |

| Re: Sarah - Cycle 9 The weight critizism is actually a valid one. If they want to have any hope of being at all realistic about modeling, they can't sugarcoat the weight topic. The truth of the matter is, Sarah was not the right weight. I dont think she should've been admitted on the show in the first place, but they did, and she was lucky to last this long and get this opportunity. I'm not saying it's fair or right, but it is what it is. Also, Sarah should not be wearing short shorts, ever. Her legs have the worst shape (not her fault I know) and her just standing there with 7 other girls with pretty much perfect bodies, just underlined how bad her legs are. |

(Go figure this one out): Sarah falling victim to Nigel`s propaganda about weight. When Tyra took the contestants aside and cautioned them about peer pressure to lose weight, Sarah basically repeated Nigel`s hairbrained interpretation of Sarah`s weight history (which IMO is like someone giving you a gun and then instructing you to shoot yourself and then you follow that person`s instructions exactly .
