I do agree with you here. Victoria can be book smart, but she is definitely not people smart. On the show, she didn't know how to interact with people or even use commonplace manners. I was surprised at how rude and abrasive she was. She is not a people person at all. I agree with GuruBishisama that "street smart" is basically just a-- kissing, but that, in itself, is still a vital quality to have in the world. The biggest a-- kissers actually get farther than people with brains that don't know how to use them.

And as an aside - isn't Victoria majoring in Medieval History at Yale?...

Yeah but the show portrayed her REALLY badly-- Lisa and Heather both said that. Every other interview with her says she is polite and soft spoken. And to get into such an elite school you definitely need to be personable-- they interview students before letting them in.

also she was the only one who spoke out against teasing heather.

and she is beautiful!!

I don't think so that Vic thinks herself is more fashion, because she said she don't now about fashion and makeup but she gonna try.

and she did it as well ,but a lot o people think as neative to her because a lot of people think she's too smart,and think intelligent person can't career about model.

well, at any rate: this is a reality television show, and has nothing to do with the actual industry (aside from great guest photographers once in a while.) so i'm glad at the very least the expectations of what type of people this show conjures up is realistic.
