Exactly.

She won't be signed because the real reality of the modeling is that she does photograph older. They kept her in for the drama and she is so egotistical that she wont admit it. But deep down inside she knows, that is why she is trying out acting instead.

Sorry for talking like non-stopable here, but Marleybone you are right. In another Renee interview she said that she fell in love with acting and doing commercial after her experiences in the show.

Oh honey please. The best model almost never is chosen. Melrose was better cycle seven. Joanie's portfolio was stronger cycle six. Nik was more consistant cycle five. Kahlen's portfolio was much stronger than Naima's cycle four.

I actually agree with the first three winners of the show, but since season four -- the girl who actually does the best hasn't won.

Re: America’s Next Top Model 8: Interview with Renee, 5/17/07

but renee hasn't done the best either way so she still doesn't deserve to win or be the girl who should've won. and the public's opinion of what a top model is just that, the public
s opinion, not professional's opinions and people who actually work in the field. do you work in the field? if you're so mad your favorite didn't win then get a job in the industry so you can cast her. it's just a show, and whats done is done. on another note there's nothing wrong with self confidence but she's arrogant and not humble. she's definitely better than magazine hos and myspace hos. but she has no reason to talk out of her @$$ and say she's so great. but hey, whatever makes her feel better. i'm not going to tell anyone to stop liking her but her attitude and arrogance or lack of modeling ability has no justification. like her for her being mean, like her for being arrogant and a two faced backstabber, but don't try to change those awful qualities into something noble. and it makes me wonder about a person who likes someone like that.

Re: America’s Next Top Model 8: Interview with Renee, 5/17/07

Renee is a very beautiful girl, but years of smoking and living in Hawaii under the sun have done a number on her skin. Even in the CW interview, when she's had a lot of time to rest, she has bags under her eyes. And the haircut they gave her did not help her look fresh or young. Nor did the sequiney tshirt dress they out her in for her MLaaCG spot.
I didn't really care that she was a "bitch"; she was just too upfront and honest for a lot of the girls in the house. I liked her and I wanted her and Nata to be the top two, with Nata winning. The way Jaslene speaks makes me angry and frustrated. The way she scrunches up her face and forces out every word is not attractive at all.
Renee's interviews have made me like her more, but I think she might have a hard time acting because of her accent and kind of coarse mannerisms.

Re: America’s Next Top Model 8: Interview with Renee, 5/17/07

yeah jaslene is just plain annoying but renee is aggravating. set her ugly personality aside, its her face that bother's me. she has no neck and she looks 40. im sorry but she does. in fact, i want to see her birth certificate. there is no way that she is 20.

her exit interview looked awful. that cheap synthetic blonde weave she sported made her look like a truckstop waitress. and those wrinkles!

Re: America’s Next Top Model 8: Interview with Renee, 5/17/07

My opinions did not change of Renee - I think she's pretty but like the judges said she does look older than 20 in her pictures, maybe it's the hair style or her facial expressions. And I'm sorry but the girl is more arrogant than self-confident, she came off as pretentious and overbearing with her claims of being better than the others - give me a break. I have no doubts she genuine, multi-dimensional and yes a victim of reality editing but by and large I'm glad she didn't win. Even though I didn't think she wasn't right for this competition I do wish her good luck in her pursuit of acting.

Thank you -- you hit the nail on the head for me. There's something coarse about her mannerisms -- I noticed it a lot in the Aussie commercial, because she was also playing it up a lot, but she's not a smooth, graceful woman. It's almost as though her behavior doesn't fit her looks. Fine enough in a person, but it was always a bit jarring for me as a model and spokesmodel.

And I'm sorry, but I disagree with Pedro -- I thought her acting was awful. A.W.F.U.L. Unfortunately, a lot of the acting on tv is awful, so maybe she'll find a job. Being an interviewer, for some entertainment news show -- that I can see. Letting go of the ego and mannerisms and becoming another character... wellllllll
