There's no rule that says the girls who don't win have to stay in modeling. I got the impression that she discovered during the course of the show that she loved acting, and there's nothing wrong with trying a different career path when you are only 20 years old and what you thought you wanted didn't work out. It's no different than a college student changing majors.

She was at a safe spot and when it comes to the end they're going to want to have two girls with great portfolios not a mediocre one. Otherwise it'd be clear who wins. Which she never would've. And she is sooooo delusional if she thinks she's as good as she is. This show is a guilty pleasure for me and I have a friend who works with real models all day in New York and he agrees actually he thinks most of the girls and I too agree wouldn't go anywhere but she is the worse, my thoughts and his. And he makes fun of me for watching it, like I said guilty pleasure. Both girls in the top were better than her. And if she's such a good model how come no agencies have signed her? How come she's going to pursue acting instead? Samantha was eliminated and she got signed. So she definitely is great in her own little world.

I agree with you she wasn't robbed of anything. There were only 4 pics she was good in the hippy one the women's mags and the aboriginal shoot the rest were mediocre. What bugged me about her was that she always seemed to coast in shoots and always got through to the next round.

thank you. you can love the way she looks and find her pretty, and like her pictures but she isn't a model. and that can go for any of the contestants because in the end for the most part it is a show. people should come to terms with that at least. I like the way she looks at times too and she definitely isn't ugly, on the inside yeah, but there's always a girl who doesn't get kicked off until late because they coast and she was that girl.

She def. coasted...and that in her cw interview she thought that she had one of the strongest portfolios makes me laugh. She cant seem to step back and look at herself...She's very "I'm good. I'm hot, I'm a winner!" And saying the "old" thing is a surprise and copout...no.

I really have to disagree with this. Her portfolio was on par with Dionne's, and no way was she on Brittany, Natasha or Jaslene's level.

What's wrong with a little self-confidence guys? I believe no one would go out and say, "Yeah I totally sucked big ass, and well they owned me! I shouldnt have gone that far."

"I was doing better than the other girls."

You can't deny, after they were in Australia, she was the best hands down. I think she was refering to that time, but not the whole competition.

Re: America’s Next Top Model 8: Interview with Renee, 5/17/07

I don't know .. I appreciate that she's honest, but she still has this bit of pretension which really bothers me. Even if she was the best (which I don't agree with), I think that's never good to have, because you never know if you have any misconceptions of your surroundings, or even yourself.
