| Re: America’s Next Top Model 8: Interview with Renee, 5/17/07 I liked the way they styled her hair for the makeover shot, meaning that it doesn't have to look old. But with the hair and dress in the CG commercial and shoot, it almost felt deliberate, that they tried to make her look old so that they could eliminate her. Jayla revisited? | |

| Re: America’s Next Top Model 8: Interview with Renee, 5/17/07 i busted up laughing when i saw her walking in with that scary long hippy skirt with the carwash effect hem. matched with that cheap black stretch top, renee looked like a walking fashion no-no. she should have been eliminated for just having bad dress sense right there. no wonder she can't comprehend a short, edgy hairstyle is because her own personal style is very pedestration and dated. |

| Re: America’s Next Top Model 8: Interview with Renee, 5/17/07 The only way Renee was "robbed" was because of why she was eliminated. Call out her lack of personality in shots - she always seemed to coast through the photos, doing just enough to stay in but never delivering a knock-out photo. Call her out for always having the same face - I know one of the judges pointed this out during the shoot where they picked their own poses. Call her out for her personality - they knocked her runway walk, and her attitude (though it was in the confessional only) was "Who cares, I was awesome!" The fact that she still can't tell where her weaknesses are shows she has no intention of trying to improve. But call her out for looking old?! I *always* thought Renee looked like she was in her forties, before and after the makeover. I was surprised she even made the cut for the show because of the old thing. But that is something Renee is not going to be able to change and that was not a fair reason for sending her home after letting her compete for three months despite looking old the entire time. |
