She seems so much more mature. I really like her much more after this interview. I have feel so bad for her after explaining her weave. Ugh, poor girl!

Nice interview. Too bad she's will always be remembered for her temper tantrum.

Re: America’s Next Top Model 8: Interview with Brittany, 5/3/07

Quote:
They braided my . . . first off, they gave me $27.99 hair out of a package, but beyond that, they dyed my hair about seven or eight times to match the color in the weave, and it blistered. My scalp had blisters on it, and, then, they braided it up, which ripped the blisters off and my skin off. So, my scalp was actually scabbed and bleeding underneath of the weave, and it got to the point where it was so bad that I had blood running down at points.

Oh, my goodness. Now I feel sick having heard that. So, you were not being portrayed as being a whiner; you had some real problems going on there.
I can't imagine what that must have been like. I wonder if this isn't too much in the name of modeling.

Great interview, as usual, SV. Keep up the good work!

Re: America’s Next Top Model 8: Interview with Brittany, 5/3/07

Interesting, she did not come across the way I expected at all. She really explained the memory problem well - I'm glad you asked about that. She didn't shy away from the hard questions, either.

SV, you asked great questions and she sounds like she was great to talk to.

I agree with whowever said the hair weave/dye job was disgraceful, but I'm not surprised. They act like they have it all together but after the girls who got frostbite from that ice cream photoshoot, it's obvious they don't do a run through of anything. Poor planning and poor execution!

Great interview. Brit took great pictures, but sometimes she comes across as very cocky sort of like Melrose. I wish her well in her modeling career.
