No. She got a showcard because Elite liked her. GenArt would NOT have booked her just because it was for her MLAACG segments; that's absurd! Why do you think her Elite polas were on COACD two days after she won? Why do you think Jaslene was sent out on such high-profile castings? Also, why do you think Jaslene was sent with a slew of other Elite models to London? It's because, as ArtSciBoy said, Elite believes in her.

Also, how is her modeling limited to people who go on her Myspace? Every single shot on her Myspace was either included in her Elite or CWTV portfolio.

and if you compared her to just the winners of any top model (barbara, lena,lucy, liana, alice, ebony, gemma, andea rebbeca etc ) and she still can not hold a candle to them (ugh even liana ) is not good. that avatar of yours is a model.. and i dont see jaslene even coming an inch close to a sisi or a hana, denise and i could go and on.. and thats just next top model.

her famous walk would not and does not hold a candle to a Caroline Trentini Mariacarla Boscono... They can walk like demons and have the looks to back it

I personally dont see a model and who knows maybe someone important will discover her, mentor her and help boost her career.. but that has not happened and i doubt it will so she better save that money

I agree with you. I don't like Jaslene at all even if she's doing "well" (I use this term loosely) .

I notice when someone makes their point about a one Top Model girl getting more jobs than another girl, they will a real model in the debate to bring that girl down. There hasn't been ANY girl in all of NTMs that is a A-list model. Not Elyse, Hana, Mollie Sue none of them but they are working models . The jury is still out on Rebecca (one of the most overrated winners in all of the NTMs) and Alice. Jaslene did get off to a nice start for a winner. Will she ever be a supermodel? I don't think so but she should have a nice career.

Well, there is Ksenia from RNTM 1, but that's an entirely different topic. (Also, YAY for us agreeing about Rebecca being overrated! She is NOT even that good!)

Back on topic:
Jaslene definitely did get a lot of work very quickly, though, which seems to be a good sign.

Do you not understand that a model can walk in a show without being in the show package? They wouldn't have to give her a showcard in order to be in that show. They would have just put her in the damn show, filmed it and aired it if this were just for MLAACG.

I don't see why you fail to realize that.

You can't just enforce your opinion repeatedly by writing "end of story" and being snotty.

Bottom line is even though Jaslene was short and a lot of people didn't/don't like her, she has model potentials and is usable. Caridee was a train-wreck and useless. Can anyone give proof that Elite was able to use her outside of her ANTM edge (as in Seventeen cover, Covergirl)? Come to think of it, I don't think Elite got a cut off that.

Yeah, I think Jaslene will have a similar track to Danielle, and do well enough to stick around for a few years, show up randomly on future ANTMs. As long as she's booking work, I'm happy.

OH MY GOODNESS. Draglene goes london? Please, that girl do not have the looks what london is looking for. Ethnic? Maybe. Trendy? None. High fashion? A big NO NO. I can't imagine she is modelling in london. That place is totally wrong for her.
