Diana - Cycle 8

I think Diana has the potential to be around for a while. She has a good proportion and bone structure and she is improving on her posing. But I dread the day when Sutan says "suck it in, suck it in" like he so condencendingly said to Anchal. I think plus-sized girls need to be judged on their own merits and not against the traditional sized 0-2.

Well then they should get there own cycle those skanks wants to be in it they need to know the truth

I can understand people who love everything about modeling and high fashion not liking Diana or Whitney because larger girls aren't the norm, but I don't see how being plus sized makes them skanks. You can call them whatever you want, I just don't agree with it.

The reason I disagree with that is because Tyra is one of those wanting plus size models to be included with the likes of the Gemma's of the world. Another issue is that its unfair to the other girls if there's some girls in the competition that aren't being judged on the same level as they are. Making it easier for some models while judging others on a harsh level doesn't make sense. It's not really a level playing field.

Adding to the earlier discussion, another thing that sucks so much about diana and whitney performing so poorly, is that it's reinforcing the idea that a plus-sized girl cant model as well as a typical model. I'm very disappointed in Diana, as well as Whitney. Diana could do so much better

I think with the two plus sizes they ae the exact opposite. Diana has a great face, but a bad body, whereas Whitney is the opposite.

I also agree. Models of different sizes would more than likely be kept on separate boards at an agency and sent out for different jobs and clients. That may change one day, but I don't think ANTM is going to be the reason for the change and I don't think Whitney and Diana are strong enough models (yet?) to bring about that change.

Until Diana and Whitney begin to take better photos, mostly everybody will think that Tyra is keeping them because they are plus sized. Tyra's recent weight gain and her crusade against the fashion industry in support of plus sized models is only reinforcing that theory.
