I can understand the discussion of past CGOTW winners in relation to speculating about Cycle 8, but the discussion on the last few pages has been getting a little bit off topic.

Why you say?
Lets look at some numbers.
CGOTW started with Cycle 3, and since Cycle 3 up until last week there have been 54 CGOTW winners named.
Out of the 54 times, only 12 times has CGOTW gone to a non ethnic/white girl.
I think this vote reflects the target audience of the show. It wasn't until Cycle 5 a white girl was voted CGOTW......Lisa!
People are more prone to vote for the girl they can relate to most, not always but mostly.

What do you all think about my theory?????

For sure it's how the editing is going. It's who most people favor, and most of the time the contestants people favor are the ones who get the good edit.

And it's true when you say CGotW doesn't have anything to do with spoiling who wins the competition. The winner was crowned long ago.

Jaslene probably has about 2 minutes of air time in most episodes, so how she continues to get CGOTW is a mystery to me.

i wonder why Jaslene never showed up with her bikini's at the 1st casting in both cycle (7 & 8)??? Even when her makeover photoshoot they didn't show her full image! & i STILL wonder what she looks like in the NEXT Swimsuit photoshoot? Maybe just a bone & skin...

I asked my friend the same question and she joked, "Maybe she looks too bad in bikini!" Maybe she has a point though, Jaslene is just too thin.

She did show up at auditions in a bikini, and yes she's extremly thin

The fact that Sarah and Brit look like normal sized girls next to her scares me (both Sarah and Brit are pretty thin already).
