The new Cycle 8 Spoiler and Speculation Thread

Jay Manuel said in an interview a few weeks ago that this was the first time that there was a girl that he was sure would be in the top three but wasn't. Was he talking about Sarah? Because he was a huge fan of hers towards the beginning of the cycle. Either that, or will Brittany be going home sooner that we think?

That could mean Jaslene as well. The first four photoshoots, Jay had nothing but praise for her. I know recently he said she was hanging by a thread (watch bonus clips on cw), but he could have meant her as well when speaking to People Magazine.
All I know is the top two are usually the two girls with the best photos and personality, and the winner with the exception of Eva are usually very likeable.
I guess compared to YaYa, Eva was the likeable one..lol

I will admit the comment by Jay is the only thing that has me worried about Brittany. Other than his comment, I feel like she will be in the top three.

I definitely hope Brittany is in the top 3 but her winning, IMO, would be too predictable.

I think this show, if you go back and watch the older cycles, is pretty predictable....at least in who the top two will be. I think by the time the girls go to the foreign location, the top two become more clear.
I would say the top three is easy to tell by the time they reach the foreign location, but the third spot is usually a wild card on this show.

I kinda agree. Although I didn't see Joanie as a frontrunner in cycle 6 until she gave amazing photos for the Krumping, Doll and Crying shoots.

Cycle 5, I thought Nik was going to win! On the other hand Nicole, she was not featured prominently during the first few episodes. I didn't think she would actually win.

Joanies Krumping pic was before they went to Thailand, once they were in Thailand I think she was a front runner along with Danielle.
Also, Nik was an obvious front runner by the time the girls reached the UK, and it was obvious to me the only other girl for the top spot by the time UK rolled around was Nicole. Nicole had some great photos by that time and she was tall thin and young. The others left besides Nik and Nicole were either bitches (Jayla and Bre), old (Lisa), or short(Kim, Bre and Jayla).

Last cycle Caridee ran the show when there were six left, maybe next week's episode would be a good one for us to speculate.

i think the final 2 will be Brittany and Dionne. they both are the most consistent. i just cant see a mom winning for one. and as good as a girl Dionne is she needs to be directed to much in a photoshoot. and again she's a mom. Brittany however somewhat bland right now can show people a different side in the upcomming episodes. and Dionne is like Danielles long lost twin. Brittany would be the first red head i believe and actually has the potential to be a real Top model. I dont like her that much but she honestly deserves it the way she's been performing thus far.

I don't find that too predictable
IMO, she has been praised, but very discretely
Dionne has now been shown wowing the judges despite needing a lot of direction during shoots, and she will probably finish 2nd or 3rd
Plus, if you look at the cycle 7 episode before barcelona, caridee was looking like a pretty obvious winner
Brittany is the kind of girl who people complain antm does not have enough of
just the way people complained that nik only lost because they did not want another black winner, the judges chose danielle next cycle
then people complained antm needs a blonde winner, caridee won
people were then complaining that caridee was not high fashion enough, so they will choose a high fashion girl like brittany
at this point, i think anyone but jaslene would make a decent model
However,renee/dionne/brittany are the most modelesque
Jael and natasha take good photos and are very likeable, but unfortunately, jael does not have model body proportions and natasha is too short
Renee/dionne/brittany are all young/long/lean, so it will all depend on performance
But i am getting the vibe brittany will win
