Ah well, Tyra's not so good when it comes to distinguishing where things like that belong, I suppose. Maybe that's why her photoshoots are so ridiculous.

All the shoots sound so cheesy :/.

They should copy some AusNTM shoots. They already stole the boot camp thing

If you were to think about it; A LOT of photoshoots in Vogue, Photo, Harpers Bazaar are crazy; and thats what makes them fashionable.
I think the only thing that ANTM needs to work on in photoshoots is execution. The ideas are really cool and have a lot of potential.
Tyra is a very smart woman; but I respect your opinion.

I agree. I don't think the photo shoot ideas are always so bad, especially since a lot of the time the photo shoots actually mimic real editorials from high fashion magazines, but the execution is almost always horrible.

If you're trying to say that crazy is fashionable then I don't agree with you. There should be a fine line between overdoing something and making it relevant to the fashion industry. The latter one is definitely what I see in magazines such as Numéro, Flair, i-D, Muse, Tush, Velvet, Pop, Another Magazine, V etc (the magazines that I consider fashionable that is).
Execution is basiaclly not only one thing as you seem to think but rather everything that a good photo shoot consists of; styling, make up, clothes, set design, themes/ideas et.c. ANTM has nothing to do with fashion but providing the pure entertainment to their target group which is women between 15 - 25. If I was considered there should not be any themes to the photoshoots at all.

I agree that ANTM is mostly for entertainment purpose's, but my point is that there is great ideas; and although editorials and ads don't say it's on "Political Evolutions or High School Cliches" but thats where they get all the ideas from.
But the magazines you listed; always find a way to make it realistic and give a great finishing product, which is what I said ANTM needs to work on.

Oh yeah, aliens, superheros, falling fairytales and celebrity couples would look SO great on Vogue, W, V, i-D, Número, Bazaar and even ELLE
