EDIT: Oh and btw, hah, I posted something on ANTM LJ before about international destinations most people would like to see, and many agreed Mumbai and Dubai would be good choices. I respect your opinion, but express it in a tactful way that doesn't hurt others.

How in the hell is that disrespectful? Overreacting much? I don't find any reason for them to go to Dubai and Mumbai either. It would be too reminiscent of when they went to South Africa. The cultures aren't similar or anything but I kept wondering what they were doing THERE in the first place. There's an entire list of more suited places for them to go. With Australia and Brazil being at the top of it seeing as how a ton of models come out of both of those locations. Don't get so offended.

Sorry, heh...things are perceived that way on the internet, I guess. It's just, there are a lot more designers and there are fashion weeks in both Mumbai and Dubai. Plus, they're really nice places. But I understand your point about Australia and Brazil now. Hah, sorry for overreacting...I just get a little like that at times.

EDIT: Hamburg and Sao Paulo were next on my list...plus, there's always Russia and Copenhagen.

Sorry for overreacting myself. I just woke up and let's just say I have a short fuse when I'm just reaching consciousness, hah. (Yes, visiting FORT is one of the first things I do when I get up in the morning

)I did not even have any idea that Dubai and Mumbai had fashion weeks, but now that I think about it I really wouldn't doubt that they do!

Oh pease tyra, get the trip to fashion cities, i know that there are a lot of beautiful places with amazing people to go, but this show is about fashion and modelling, so, GO TO A FASHION CENTER, paris, milan, london, tokyo, and barcelona are fashion centers, great fashion centers to go. The next could be Brasil, the center of the fashion here in South America, Australia , Germany, whatever, but let it be a fashion center, not just a "beautiful place".

Was that directed at me? Haha, sorry. The next three places remotely close to fashion capitals left are, well, Australia, Brazil, and Hamburg.
