In surfing the internet I came upon some editor praising Natalia V for having such a recognizable face.

What Canadians would that be, ANTM?

Cowchpotatoye - maybe a bit of a resemblance? But not a lot. Truthfully, none of the models, in my opinion, on ANTM thus far can hold a candle to Natalia V or other models on her level. Except maybe Ann of cycle 3.

I've never bought into the whole "chameleon" ideal. It's always good to be versatile, but if being versatile is a model's defining quality, wouldn't that make her a bit dull? What does it say about the uniqueness of one's identity if it's constantly mutable and replicable?

So yay for Natalia, I say. Bring on the one-of-a-kind gorgeousness.

I think the people hiring a model typically want both recognition and a girl who can take on the precise characteristics of their vision. I don't think versatility and uniqueness are inversely related, though. A perfect balance of the two is probably what makes the supermodel, along with other factors, mostly cosmic. I'm wondering, which models today are considered the most versatile?

Basically...I only keep up with faces, but if I were to get one name correct, and this comes from me humbly ignorant...

I suppose I really am a fan of the norms.

Gemma Ward, the bunch, but so far I've liked every face I've seen blooming upon this thread.

Well, Hana's English is still limited, which might be a factor, and she's just expressing a sentiment that most people feel upon first arriving in America. I find it more "endearingly honest" than ignorant, because while it's not a PC thing to say, it doesn't express any prejudice or negative feelings. She simply hadn't had the opportunity to see the world before. I see it more as an openness about her initial innocence.
