So here's a new model that interests me, Anna Nocon...

She looks like a baby version of my best friend, who is also Polish, same beautiful pale blue eyes. (Looking at her seriously makes me miss my best friend. I'm going to cry.

)

And like nausicaa, I also love Vlada Roslyakova, who has a similar look...

I usually prefer more mature-looking models, but these are baby faces I adore.

Both Nausicaa and Anna Noccon look stunning in the pictures. My favourite models would have to be .. Gabriel Aubry, Almudena Fernandez, Giselle Bunchen and the gorgous half vietnamese/hawaiin model/actress Maggie Q(quigley)

In that vainty fair cover that CCL posted, I can see why the judges compared Kahlen to Carmen Kass

I like Natalia.. but she's always recognisable to me, so its either she's really unique or she doesnt have many different looks?

When I first saw Karolina Kurkova's Mango Campaign some time ago, I didn't think much of her until I watched her do the Victoria's secrete show..
She's really really striking and has an amazing walk.. Been able to recognise her after that and I think she's one of my faves .. (and I usually prefer brunettes!)

I really like Maggi Q as well.. but i know her to be more of an actress than a model.

The supermodels .. well i dont get any of them. Adrianna, Giselle.. striking but i wont wanna take a second glance. Its these other girls that I find more interesting somehow.. (save for Heidi)

Astridr! It's true about Natalia having really strong, instantly recognizable features. She doesn't have a face that can be transformed as some models do, but I think she can pull off many different looks in terms of elegant, dark, sexy, nymphet... while still looking like Natalia. I remember the first picture I saw of her, a season after she hit the scene (where I was in Fall 2002 - no idea

). I remember thinking, "Who is this girl? I have to know!" same as when I first saw Kate Moss and Gemma Ward.

Really? I appreciate classic beauty myself, in addition to quirkiness, but I don't understand how Anna or Vlada could be considered "really ugly." They do look all of nine years old, though, so I can see why it's not a look for everyone. Which models are your favorites?

While it is important for a model to have many different looks, it is also important for her to have a high recognition factor. It would not be good if a model could not be recognized from picture to picture, runway to runway etc. Look at Linda Evangelista who was known for her transformations (usually via haircuts & colours) - she looked different all the time and yet you could still recognize her as Linda E.
