annie, do you know much about an indian model named Padma...Lakshmi (or something). I was watching Fashion Television this morning (FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER!) and she was talking about a 7-inch gash on her right arm. I thought she was quite pretty, and it's interesting to hear her story since what I know about the fashion industry is that they are obsessed with physical perfection (which I can be completely wrong). I hope you made some sense of what I just said.

Random - I don't think Padma does much modelling nowadays (she's 30-something - ooh old.

). She has (had?) a cooking show on the Food Network. And she's married to Salman Rushdie of the Satanic Verses fame. Anyways, not going to post the link, but if you do a google search for Lakshmi films you will find her official website.

thanks ccl! they said she was 32 on the show i was watching. i guess it was a rerun because she wasn't married at that point. thanks again!

you know what I also saw on FT? I saw Camille from ANTM cycle 2 walking for a Jamaican fashion show. She opened the show too! I have to say she looked amazing, I thought it was Naomi at first glance.

Hahaahahah...I think I caught that part, but I wasn't paying any attention to who it is! So, Camille is successful too, that's awesome knowing that being on ANTM does help the contestants later

My favourite VS model, whom unfortunately is the least popular out of the angels, is Alessandra Ambrosio.

I also checked this thread and there was no mentioning of Carolyn Murphy so I think I might post some of her editorials here. She really has a unique face but is not very tall (176cm, i think). Anyway, she started to grow on me really quick after I have seen her Beyond Paradise Ad.
