thanks for bringing the positivity back to the thread, it was well needed and well said.

Eva's trying hard (cheers to her for apologising and double cheers to Norelle for being the most mature one on the show and accepting an apology even when people that had nothing to do with it wouldn't) to get better, and I respect that. Remember though, this is the second time Eva's had to be called back to the table for her manners. I hope it doesnt haveto happen again.

Eva's Divalicious.....

Yeah, dumb word, but in all sincerity, she makes she show for me. And if Eva was as bad as people say she is, she would have gone all OJ on Yaya weeks ago, instead she just ignores her for the most part. I think in a pinch she does lose her cool and turn on people, but as TyTy says, that's her insecurity showing through, that's all.

I feel for Eva, because I think she may randomly hurt people but I don't think she does it intentionally, and Ann and Yaya attacked her just for the hell of it. That was cruel, more cruel than anything Eva has done because it was so premeditated.

I don't think for one hot minute Ann was fighting for Norelle's feelings, or trying to "stick up" for her new woman, she was just jealous and angry. And yaya... well Yaya was being a dick, as always.

Eva reminds me of Fantasia (from American Idol) in that she isn't as palatable to everyone and therefore is more polarizing, but as I posted for Fantasia... That's just going to make it all the more amazing when she wins.

Congrats, Eva.

Apology, 'smology'...I watched the Friday night reruns of Wednesday's show and saw how "SINCERE" Eva was doing her so-called "save-her-ass" apology to Norelle.

The girl Eva had a cigarette in her hand, with the fan and could have almost caught Norelle and her Kimono on fire!!! and then fanned the flames with her fan!!!

What a way to get rid of the competition...smile and blow SMOKE in their face.

That was a class-less, superficial, [for the cameras] apology.

I have again had to remove several posts . Just a reminder per our site rules. You can state your opinion of any contestant of any show . Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Baiting and bashing other members is not permitted.
If you have a coronary at any negativaty towards your favorite , then perhaps you should leave.

It's true what Tyra said...."Everybody talks." And there is no one who is safe from being talked about and everyone backbites. It's human and natural to us to have views and opinions and express them. So I think actually it was kind of childish of Ann to confront her about talking. Just keep your mouth shut because Eva called her out on something too that she adimently denied...I doubt she never said anything bad about another girl-in fact I recall her cutting writing into Cassie's food. Now that wasn't very nice...so how can you start arguing at someone for being rude-especially when it wasn't geared at you. Let Norelle stick up for herself and if she doesn't, that's her.

Also, I recall Ann saying to the camera/producer that she now hopes Eva will be cut soon and especially before her. I mean talk about contradicting yourself!

This is NOT an excuse for Eva's mouth, but I do believe that she realized what she said was hurtful and inappropriate. She was insecure about doing poorly and struck out. She was frustrated, and being loud and trying to make those around her look weak is probably her natural response to insecurity. It's immature and hopefully something she will grow out of.

I don't really want Eva to win. She's turned me off with her unkind comments to people. But she's not as bad as others. Somebody made the point that she is who she is and doesn't have the maturity yet to filter her speech, unlike Yaya who is arrogant and malicious and Ann who is sadly proving to be immature and vindictive (though I admire her sticking up for Norelle). I totally agree with that assessment of Eva.

Another reason I do not want Eva to win is that she looks odd to me. Her pictures are gorgeous, and there is no doubt she is talented, but the shape of her head really bothers me. Beautiful eyes, but her head is like a little round nut. Any thoughts on a hairstyle that would be better on her than such a close crop? Maybe something to elongate her face?

Sorry for the double post, but I forgot to ask...
Did anyone else notice how vulnerable and insecure Eva looked during the last episode when they were reading the Tyra mail the morning after the fight on the rooftop? Based on the look in her eyes, I would say she was being ostracized by the other girls and really feeling bad. She's not my favorite contestant, but I really felt for her! Maybe that sort of experience will help her treat others better, now that she knows how it feels.

I love her interviewing by the way... She's really quite funny!

I just thought it was that she wasn't a morning person. She hasn't looked particularly good or perky in any of the early morning shots I've seen.

Maybe you are right. I could be reading into it, but she really did look vulnerable to me at that moment. I wouldn't be surprised considering the night before...
