Note, my "strong feeling" is not based on reading other boards or any inside information or knowledge. Someone mentioned rumors on other boards, I don't read any others, I have no idea whether the rumors have any veracity or not, they could have been deliberately started to mislead people. Who knows.

Maybe its wishful thinking, Eva has really grown on me. DANG that chick is funny. Aside from the fact that she has a strong look, including great eyes, she's pretty good at the runway, height notwithstanding, she's done pretty well on her photos, she's got charisma, presence, character that just shines through. Tyra said "star quality" in person. It seems to me like in the past couple of cycles, the judges went for "the face", Adrienne over Shannon, Yoanna over Mercedes, even if the other girl won the runway competition, or there was some disagreement who won the runway competition. And they tend to go for the stronger personality, the character that would be more interesting sitting on the couch at Jay Leno.

But the other reason, and I just can't get this out of my mind, is because of the interview segments they intersperse throughout the programs. I know they must tape some of the interviews at the beginning, before the makeovers, but I'm really wondering whether they tape the rest all through the course of the competition or if any are done afterward. Like Cassie said she had been back to NY since the show concluded. What for? I suspect there are contractual limitations on what they can do until it comes out whether they were eliminated or won, not like she has family there, job prospects, or has plenty of money to vacation there.

Maybe...taping interview segments? Its partially that Eva is getting so much coverage, but its that her interviews remind me of Yoanna's in retrospect. Yoanna was so darn relaxed and happy, cracking jokes, enjoying herself, and Eva seems the same way. Nobody else seems as upbeat and yet laid back. She has a positive glow about her, and while I admit the girl has a glow naturally, it seems like something more to me, like she knows something we don't know. Maybe she's just the most relaxed in front of the camera because I think someone said she's actually had some acting experience in the movies, so I may be reading WAY, WAY too much into it, but I just can't shake the feeling.

I never thought of that, but you are right. In retrospect, it was clear that Yoanna won from the interviews. She was enunciating carefully, and joyful really. I think you're on to something here. The interviews might be a "tell." I'm going to watch that more carefully on Wednesday. But, I think you are definately on to something

as if you haven't noticed from watching the episodes she has been more calmed down and toned with her attitude if that was the case she would be arrogant infront of the judges but is she? no. in fact they beg and plead for her diva side to be shown more, lucky its not for you to decide her fate in europe, hopefully it would be good. on her go see's she carried herself well, case closed.

I don't think she'll win -- She is too short for their standards, and I doubt the judges would forget her earlier attitude.

I hope you are right. She is not my favorite. YaYa would be a stronger contender. All have something wrong with them. YaYa and Nicole are both only 5'8. Not sure why that's better than 5'7, and not as good as 5'9. I will never understand the world of modeling.

Eva's become my favorite and I think she has a strong chance at winning. I love her pics and she's hilarious, the show would be slightly boring without her. I think Eva could easily be at least top 3 if she continues to take great pics.

I think Eva definately will be Top 3 though. Her, Amanda, and Yaya.
