Eva is doing a lot of work, and she's appearing in two movies next year. I don't know if they'll suck, if they are for TV or whatever. But she's definitely working.

When I hear people complaining because Elyse does commercial work and Eva does commercial work, I roll my eyes. Modeling, just like acting, is not always about doing high-fashion. The same way most actors don't just do Shakespeare, most people have to contend with different projects to pay the bills. I have friends who are models and work is work. It's a hard business and you are lucky if you get a few gigs, much more if you are making a steady income.

Eva is not, in my opinion, destined for big star success. I see her in soaps in the future, maybe some TV shows, etc. But if that's what she does, so what? I'm sure she enjoys it.

I'm sure all the other girls, whether it be Elyse selling commercial appliances in Hong Kong or Toccara selling clothes, are enjoying themselves. Modeling is such a short life span profession. The true, big fashion models start at 14 and their careers will be over in a decade or so.

So enjoy Eva, Elyse, Ann while they are around. Eventually they will all descend into the obscurity of I was a model and join the rest of us mortals in the regular world. But they'll have some nice memories of their times as models

Eva is Engaged?

20 year old Eva Pigford of UPN's 'America's Next Top Model' Reality Show recently became engaged to 36 year old Henry Simmons of NYPD Blue and is sporting a 5 karat diamond ring to prove it. Henry met Eva at a fashion show where the diva worked the catwalk and it was love at first sight, he said.
"Eva is an intelligent business minded individual that I deeply love very much," he said. The couple are planning a spring wedding in California next year.

Eva who came to fame in 2004 was a 19-year-old student from Los Angeles who had been criticized for her "diva" attitude earlier in the competition, was

crowned 'America's Next Top Model' during the third cycle of the popular UPN "dramality" series. This win lead up to numerous Covergirl endorsments, magazine spreads and tv hosting jobs.

Henry is one of three children born to a retired IRS agent and a former school teacher. One of his sisters is his twin. Simmons earned a basketball

scholarship at Franklin Pierce College in New Hampshire. He graduated with a business degree and quickly went to work for a Stamford financial firm. He quickly realized that was not his calling.

He started studying acting at night. He soon was sneaking away from work to go to auditions. He made his TV debut in a "Saturday Night Live" skit, replacing NBA star Derrick Coleman after he broke an ankle. He then got bit

parts on several TV series. This led to a continuous role on the soap opera

"Another World" and then to "NYPD Blue". While waiting for his breakthrough, he worked as a hotel bellman.

Good move Eva, marry someone who can take care of you when your 15 mins. of fame runs out. (Dang! I know that was a dig, but I just don't care for this girl. She was just so mean in Cycle 3.)

Eva is by far my favorite winner.

It seems like with season four, my prediction and liking of the winners just stopped.

Loved Adrianne, LOVED Yoanna, Loved Eva.

HATED Naima.

Good for eva on getting engaged.

I'm happy for her. She's my favorite ANTM winner. I'm surprised she's engaged. I remember reading an interview she did where she stated that she and her mother decided she wouldn't date for about three to five years.

Henry Simmons is so hot. She's so young though. I hope they last.

Bit of an age gap, but lots of age gaps work out. Who on earth consults their mother about dating at the age of 19 or 20!!!!

I dont care for her either. Infact, I can't stand her! Everytime I see her on my tv screen i feel this urge to punch her face.

I'd feel that urge too if her nose didn't already look like someone beat me to it. I just wish she could learn to model without tilting her head so you have to look up her nostrils.

By looking at his acting skills; Eva will be the one taking care of them.
