I would like to see the viewing demographic for this show. I think it would be telling. Age and sex must have a ton to do with the results.

I would like to see the demographic too. I wonder if this result will influence the judges next season. They are responsible for putting talent up for the vote. It does not appear they consider, Vegas as they recklessly choose acts that would never fly there.

and am actually offended that you suggested that it was supposedly the majority of "fat" people who voted for Neal.

I voted for Neal for quite a few reasons:
1-he could sing
2-he is an AFLAC agent (as is my S.O.)
3-he could sing
and oh yeah, he could sing!

But actually the majority of my votes went for Nuttin' but Stringz....I guess THEIR size/race/demographic didn't vote enough for them, huh????

I take my remark off the table. I shouldn't have agreed. But, there may be something to it.

Still, for me, I couldn't believe he won because I don't think he's a very good singer - and he has absolutely no charisma other than the pity card.

And I am what you would call "not thin". Not sure if I'm considered fat or not, but if people were to describe me, I'm sure they'd reference weight in some way.

I am sorry I offended you, not my intention. It is a thought I had and shared it. There could be some truth to it. I did not imply that all his votes came from heavy people. I was just musing.

I will add that my comment was about people who are house bound/in trouble because of obesity and feel a special kinship with Neal who is on the verge of serious consequences if he does not lose some weight and fast.
