8/07 Show Discussion **SPOILERS** (AGT 2008) - Page 2

I didn't even watch last night--after the Olympics, the thought of watching this show depressed me. Yeah, they've got some talented people, but the no-talents (lip-syncing is a talent? Really?) and emphasis on sob stories have made me hit a wall where this show is concerned. Plus, they cut some truly talented people to retain "cute" or "interesting." I don't particularly care who wins at this point.

I love to watch because I always think someone is going to switch things up and be real good. Last night was just ok for me. The singing was ok, the dancing was ok, the cheesecake was ok. I couldn't believe a lip-sinc-er made it to the top 40, let alone 2 of them!
