| Re: 6/17 Show Discussion **Spoilers** (AGT 2008) Oh look. A low rent tawdry Romanian twin act! If (when?) they fail at this, I wonder if they wind up in Adult films.

For Terry Fator, 'Talent' opened a lot of doors - USATODAY.com I was assuming $100 mil for like... a decade. Which seemed like a lot. But for just 5 years? That's 20 million a year. (and there's an option for ANOTHER 5 years at $110 mil following that). That's... Pro Athlete type money. Top box office star money per film. Etc. I really doubt though they can claim ANY winner here will make that. Although I'm guessing "Vegas career" is turning out to be a lot more lucrative than the "slight chance at a recording career" track some other shows are following. In comparison, I bet only Carrie Underwood is making anything NEAR this. Maybe Kelly Clarkson, briefly, a few years ago.

| Re: 6/17 Show Discussion **Spoilers** (AGT 2008) I liked the brief bit we saw of the Chicken Puppeteer. And big drums are always fun. Really, if only 50% of New York's decent street performers showed up, that's still a huge group of people. That's before the straight out amateurs, and the legions who trucked into town from outside. The only other city I can think of with a street performer population even approaching New York would be San Francisco. If there's an audition there it should be interesting. L.A. auditions will no doubt feel kind of plastic in comparison. I'd also send them to Austin, Texas too, if I was picking locations.
