British winner- absolutely incredible!

If you want to see Simon Cowell absolutely stunned, watch this video.

The winner of British program is INCREDIBLE!

Go to You... and search for this video "Paul sings Nessun Dorma high quality video/sound"

Watch the judges faces!

You will have goose bumps. Incredible story, incredible performance!

I watched it last night, too. I stuck around and watched other clips because I was so impressed. It was great to see the female judge get the breath sucked out of her because of his awesomeness. And it was also great to see someone with tons of talent be so humble. I can see why Britain loves him.

Check out Connie Talbot, too. She was just as popular as Paul Potts - and just as charming.

I checked out Connie - just adorable! Also caught a clip of Bessie Cursons. This kid'll be on Broadway someday! I haven't watched America's Got Talent, but if the level of talent on the British version is any indication of what to expect, I may watch next time.

I watched last season of "America's Got Talent. Although I liked the winner, I hate to say it, but the talent wasn't even near the level of British program.

Boy Shakira, anyone? ""shrugs"

Yes, Bessie was AMAZING, too.

From what I can tell in the small clips from BGT on the web, it seems as if BGT didn't run as long as AGT and consequently, it might not have had as much airtime to fill with shock-value contestants. So, it may be possible that BGT had better talent. (sidenote: for me, it seems as if BGT has a bit more class, too, given the absence of David Hasselhoff).

Still, take away all the Boy Shakira's from AGT, and there was really, really good talent on the show. I personally think its worth the watch.

Having said this, Paul, Connie, Bessie and are hard acts to follow, and I think they are better than the all the AGT contestants thus far except Terry Fator's Louis Armstrong and Cass Haley's Walking on the Moon.

Last season did have excellent talent definitely to the level or better than that of BGT, it was this season with the likes of Boy Shakira that didn't live up to last season.
