DH is THE hottest 53-year I know.

Nevermind the fact that he's a millionaire extreme and has longevity that most Hollywood stars only dream of.

Most people these days can't see past Paris Hilton or Brittany Spears. David Hasselhoff, on the other hand, has all the bases covered. Let's face it -- how many of us worked EVERY DAY at a beach for years, while raking in millions, and continue to rake in millions for past work? And still look that good and behave that normally in spite of it? I can't see that there's anything to make fun of, here.

Compared to David H., most people in Hollywood are just a piece of toilet paper.

Now, regarding the show: a little dry, but I get better reception on that channel than any others so I've watched 2 of the series. The judges act as you'd expect. The draw of the show is the variety. I'm not quite clear on how much is staged and how much is authentic, but whatever. America has some talent, but America is also fickle, so I doubt anyone on the show will ever hit the bigtime for long.

P.S. Don't attack me for being a DH groupie. I watched neither Knight Rider nor Baywatch. All I'm saying is: look in your own mirror, and look in your own pocketbook, then try to convince someone how lame DH is...
Yeah, I thought not.

Oh, I wouldn't dare hassle the Hoff (not even to correct his spelling)...

Awww, look at how cute these two look together...

Now why didn't they think of developing a sitcom with the Hoff and the Cow? I'm thinking "Mad About You" meets "Odd Couple" meets "Surreal Life" meets "Baywatch Nights"!

America may have talent, but it also has one less married couple.

David Hasselhoff and actress Pamela Bach are officially divorced after 16 years of marriage, Bach's attorney, Bret Hunter, said.

"I've always loved him and always will, and have love and compassion for him," Bach, 42, told the Associated Press Wednesday. "It's a very, very sad day, but a day to move on."

The duo have been at odds since Hasselhoff, 54, filed for divorce in January, with Bach since accusing the Baywatch icon of verbally and physically abusing her, and her estranged hubby retaliating with the charge that she was a drug addict and needed professional help.

Although Hasselhoff cited the innocuous term "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split, things quickly went to pot afterwards. Bach sought a restraining order against the actor in March--her request was denied, but the judge told Hasselhoff to stay away regardless, unless he happened to be near her to visit their two teenage daughters, Taylor and Hayley.

A judge awarded Hasselhoff joint custody of the girls in May. Meanwhile, the she-said-he-brutalized-her-and-he-denies-it war raged on.

A hearing on related matters was scheduled for Oct. 10.

Now Hasselhoff can devote his full attention to Rapping Granny, the 12-year-old yodeler and the other finalists on NBC's America's Got Talent. But despite the added visibility, the former Knight Rider may not be back for another season of the much-watched summer series.

"I don't know," Hasselhoff says in Newsweek's July 31 issue. "This is not my cup of tea. I signed on for one season, and Simon Cowell conned me into it: "Here's a lot of money," and it's like The Gong Show."

Which makes us wonder: Had Hasselhoff ever seen an unscripted competition series before getting on board with this? They've all got their gong moments.

"I'm trying to get on a sitcom or maybe even my own show, Travels with the Hoff," he said, prompting many, many unanswered questions.

The actor also threw in some info about his memoirs, which he said he is in the process of writing.

"It's about growing up since I was 7 and realizing a dream," Hasselhoff said. "But when I was out trying to save the world, I forgot to save myself."
So, all you ladies . . . here's your chance to "jump in his car."

From the picture, I'm thinking The Brokeback Odd Couple's Surreal Nights!

Lord no. Lord no. No no no no no no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A commercial just showed that the British guy challenges "The Hoff" to get up on stage and sing next episode.

I will make sure my TV is off. Even if its on another channel I think it could infect my TV.

I've been pleasantly surprised by DH on this show. I didn't expect that at all since I didn't watch Baywatch or live in Germany, lol. I didn't even mind his song.

That was smart. I made the mistake of watching. Only "Flavor of Love," I'm afraid, is going to erase Hoff's act that was burned into my head. Hmm. But then I'll have to think of something to erase what "Flavor of Love" will burn into my head. Maybe another dose of Yodel Girl?

I never watched Baywatch or Night Rider whatever it was with Kit the car, but he is a nice looking fifty plus year old man. He is considered the most known actor in the world isn't he? Or the most downloaded or something? He seems pretty normal and real to me. I don't think he is a great singer by any means, but I've heard much worse, like the guests on So you think you can Dance this season! Ashley Simpson! Paris Hilton! Or the worst American Idol singers like Carmen. I'll take him any day over them.

he stinks... i think he's a horrible judge. the actualy "talent" on the show is interesting but once these judges open their mouths the show turns to a pile of poo.

Re: Judge - David Hasselhoff

Someone take this man's Coca-Cola glass away....whoops, wrong show, right metaphor.

He even sounds drunk in the preview commercial.
