"Daddy" is definitely a Southern thing. It drove my husband nuts when she'd call him that. It didn't bother me, what bothered me was the way she would shriek it!

I called my father Daddy too even into my fifties, just wish he was still around to call me Pumpkin.

I have no problem with her calling him daddy, but it was annoying to hear her say it so many times in every sentence she spoke - come on daddy, you're doing great daddy, hurry daddy, you can do it daddy, daddy, daddy....and it bothered me that she let him do so many of the tasks. It really bugged me that she had him do the dancing.

Same here. Apparently she claimed on Twitter that he did the task because she'd injured her knee. However, she didn't appear to be showing any signs of injury at all during that leg of the race. So I suspect this is just her effort on mitigating how bad it looked to her fans.
